Please Read My Author's Notes:
I do not claim Pokemon as mine. I only own the prompts.
I am writing these in the hopes that someone will read this and be inspired to make a story. Some of these will be original ideas, while others may be popular trends or underused stories. Even if only one author sees this and decides to write a story, I will still be happy. Please, if you wish to use a prompt, go ahead and PM or comment the story title and when/where it will be published, so that I may read it. Anyone is free to ask for plot advice and/or a deeper understanding of a plot.
After each prompt, there will be a few suggestions for plot points or moments in the story. You do not have to use these, they are merely suggestions I would like to see play out.
Warning, some of these prompts may include/feature blood, whump, gay ships, abuse, minor OOCness, cursing and other things. No smut or lemons, unless imagined by the reader.
Prompt 1:
While in the Alola region, an old friend returns to Ash in the form of his Greninja. But Team Flare is coming back, and somehow Lysandre is still alive. With the looming threat of the end of life as anyone knows it, all of Ash's friends and companions must join together with the gym leaders and kahunas of the Pokemon world in order to stop the threat of Team Flare once and for all.
Suggestions:
Ash and Greninja are controlled by Lysandre for a while. (PLEASE DO THIS)
The reason Lysandre is more of a threat now than he was last time is because he now has Zygarde, Xerneas and Yveltal, and/or is now using Ultra Beasts. He also has the power of Ash-Greninja for a while.
Some legendary pokemon do show up. I'm thinking Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Celibi, Suicune, Reshiram, Zekrom, Latias, Victini or Keldeo and/or the Swords of Justice (You can pick and choose which). And of course the Legendaries of Alola. (Ash is friends with all of them and everyone is hella confused when he talks to the literal gods of this world like old friends, Lugia and/or Reshiram even calling him "master".)
Ash's Alolan friends are confused as hell most of the story.
Maybe just remove Sophocles altogether? No? Okay... *sigh*
Prompt 2:
Ash is turned into a pokemon when the mischievous Tapu Koko wants to have some fun. Now stuck as a Lucario, Ash has a pretty interesting life.
Suggestions:
Ash's friends are there when he transforms.
How long he stays as a Lucario is up to you, or even if he changes back at all.
Ash reacts rather well, but still kinda freaks out.
Pikachu finds the whole thing hilarious and is laughing his yellow ass off most of the time.
Ash talks to his friends through aura, which he does practice in that form.
When wondering through the woods, more than one trainer tries to capture Ash, none of them succeed.
Ash makes the most of being a pokemon.
Team Rocket knows what's going on and is surprisingly chill about it.
Prompt 3:
Ash is a pokemon. Always has been always will be. When he starts his journey, he struggles to hide what he really is, but only during the Kalos Crisis does he finally let go of his illusion.
Suggestions:
Ash is a Zoroark, NOT A ZORUA!
Ash's pokemon know what he is, his human friends, however, do not.
Ash reveals himself to Alain and Lysandre atop Prism Tower.
Everyone accepts him for who/what he is.
Bonnie keeps trying to pet him. Ash involuntarily purrs when she scratches behind his ears.
Ash's either is a shiny, or has his fur colors reversed, black being where red is supposed to be and red being where black is supposed to be.
Prompt 4:
Ash trains with the ninja in the Hidden Ninja Village (or whatever it's called[XYZ people, not Naruto]) for a year. Write a few drabbles about his time there.
Suggestions:
Ash is pretty good at ninja-ing, but is the best at stealth, surprisingly.
Greninja is the pokemon who joins him in training the most.
Ash pulls a Batman on almost everyone. It pisses people off to no end, though he finds it absolutely hilarious. (No one can figure out how someone as loud and lumbering as him can disappear without a sound)
While Ash is athletic, he is pretty bad at hand-to-hand combat, though still good.
Ash is pretty good at the throwing stars.
Prompt 5:
When the Lumiose Gym leader and his little sister come to Alola to give a presentation to the Pokemon School, things get interesting.
Suggestions:
Bonnie proposes Clemont to Mallow, Lana and Lille. While she did it, Ash remarks to Clemont "She hasn't changed, has she?" Clemont mournfully nods, anime tears coming from his eyes.
When Clemont says the name of one of his inventions, Ash asks Bonnie, "He still hasn't gotten any better?" Bonnie giggles and shakes her head.
Kukui is surprised that Ash would know a gym leader. When he asked, Clemont answered that Ash beat him in a battle. This leads to a lengthy conversation about Ash's journy through Kalos, with Clemont even showing pictures, thankfully, the Team Flare part wasn't mentioned. Ash was pretty much dying the whole time. After the shock wore off, Ash was asked why he didn't tell them, to which Ash replies, "When you're the runner up for an official Pokemon League, you tend to get at least some media attention. I didn't want you to think of me as the runner up to a Pokemon League, I wanted you to think of me as... well me."
After a while, Kiawe gets curious and asks about the Kalos Crisis. Clemont and Ash share a look, while Bonnie looks to the ground. They say that they would rather not talk about it.
Give Ash his Kalos attire and look. It needs to be done.
Prompt 6:
While the Alola gang are watching TV in class, (documentary, pokemon battles, contests, news, etc) an important announcement is made on the screen. From the Orange Archipelago to the world, they would request that their previous League champion return to defend his position... or forfeit his spot as current champion of the Orange Islands. Ash Ketchum will battle in the Orange Archipelago once more!
Suggestions:
Everyone is absolutely shocked to learn that Ash is the champion of the Orange Islands. Even Ash admits that he kinda forgot about it for a while.
Kukui did remember hearing something about the Orange League on the news about a year ago, but he never really paid any attention to that.
The whole gang goes to the Orange Islands on a class "field trip".
Ash uses old Pokemon like Noivern, Staraptor, Goodra, Charizard, Sceptile, etc. (Note you can sign up more than a 6 Pokemon team in a league, you just have to stick to the specific number of Pokemon in a given battle)
Ash has a closer relationship with Noivern. He did raise him after all.
Some of Ash's old friends and rivals are there. I think Paul should be the final challenge, or Alain with Ash's Charizard vs Alain's.
Greninja returns! Please!
Prompt 7:
During the fight with Ghetsis in Pokemon Best Wishes Season 2: Episode N, when everything seems lost, Ash pulls out a pitch black, stone orb. Ash awakens Zekrom with his aura in order to combat Reshiram. When Team Plasma tries to control Zekrom, they fail due to the blue aura that surrounds both Ash and Zekrom. N is shocked to see than not only is Ash the hero of Zekrom... but he is also an aura user.
Suggestions:
A storm of lightning appears when Zekrom is summoned.
Zekrom destroys the "Pokemon Control Device".
Iris is both shocked and really mad that Ash had Zekrom and didn't tell her.
Ash has a really good relationship with Zekrom.
Prompt 8:
Ash is the son of Lysandre, raised in the hate of his father, he leaves Team Flare to make his own path. But, fate works in cruel ways, and Ash must face both his father... and his friends.
Suggestions:
Ash's friends are shocked that Ash's father is a maniac like Lysandre and they question if Ash is just as bad.
Alain still thinks highly of Ash.
Delia isn't Ash's mother, but his godmother, his real mother is dead, killed in a robbery. The murderer was never caught.
Ash doesn't really hate Lysandre, but he hates what he does.
Prompt 9:
What if Ash was really a Pokemon the whole time? And not just any Pokemon, what if he was the master of shadows, Darkrai. Becoming a trainer because he was "bored" of doing the same thing over and over again as a legendary, Ash/Darkrai goes through his trainer life watching with amusement as the world throws the most insane shit at him. Too bad he's forced to reveal himself in Kalos, he really was having a fun time.
Suggestions:
Ash/Darkrai is a bit darker in this with a slightly sadistic streak.
Ash/Darkrai scares the hell out of both Lysandre and Alain when he reveals himself atop Prism Tower.
Bonnie is a cinnamon bun.
Clemont is a coward, but he's a curious coward, damnit!
Serena is just shocked.
Ash/Darkrai's only excuse for being human was that he thought it would be interesting and that he wanted to get away from his annoying siblings (the legendaries)... not that the latter ended up happening.
Prompt 10:
Ash is really starting to think that he needs a break. (No, really, this is all you get, surprise me)
