Chapter One – Revenge of the Flying Pigs
The Ortons, New York City, New York
The next day after breakfast the Ortons prayed for Alexa Bliss and gave Seth Rollins an update on his next assignment.
"So after tonight, your assignment to Alexa will end and your new assignment will begin," Trish said and Seth clapped his hands together excitedly.
Alexa pouted, "So I guess no more selfies," she said sadly and Seth hugged her and took a selfie.
"There'll always be selfies Alexa," he said and he squeezed her warmly.
"Thanks Seth," Alexa said and Trish cleared her throat.
"Listen up guys this is important. Bayley is going to try and attack you one more time but she will fail once again. This time Alexa you can't rely on Seth to fight Bayley, from now on, after tonight, you will have to fight Bayley yourself," Trish said and Randy nodded.
"Seth won't be able to watch over you anymore. From tomorrow Seth will be re-assigned to Triple H," Trish said and Seth raised a surprised eyebrow.
"The Game? Why does he need my help, he's already got ATM and the ARK Angels of DX," Seth asked puzzled.
"This assignment is the next level up. God said you needed to be assigned to the Game because last night Bayley made a pact with Stephanie McMahon Hardy to take over – no pun intended – NXT," Randy explained and Seth and Alexa's eyes bugged out.
"WHAT?!" they said in disbelief.
"You heard us, Bayley and Stephanie are going to try and take NXT away from Triple H. Your assignment to the Game is to make sure that doesn't happen Seth," Randy added and Seth exhaled when stress ran through his body.
"Wow, no pressure right?" Alexa said to Seth. "If you screw this up the NXT roster could be working for Bayley and Stephanie,"
"This doesn't just concern the NXT roster. If Stephanie takes NXT away from Hunter, she will fire all the WWE roster and move the wrestlers down to NXT in behind-the-scenes roles," Trish added and now Seth was really stressing out.
"This is the most important assignment of my life," Seth said and Alexa cleared her throat offended.
"Excuse me I think I'm a little more important that NXT Seth," Alexa said and Seth hugged her.
"Of course you are," he said and he kissed her on the head causing Alexa to blush.
Trish separated them, "Okay that's enough you two, we need you to focus Seth. This is a hard assignment and you have to concentrate. Stephanie is a master manipulator and she will stop at nothing until she gets NXT. You have to stop her," Trish said to Seth firmly.
"Can I get help? I'd really like a team to help me out. Praying knocks me for six, I won't be able to pray against Stephanie and Bayley without a little support," Seth said.
"You will have all the support you need, mostly from the woman you were first assigned to," Trish said smiling at Alexa and the Blissful One furrowed her brow.
"Me? How am I gonna help Seth?" Alexa said.
"I have some news that is going to make you very happy Alexa but I'll tell you what it is later tonight," Randy Orton said.
"So we are definitely going to be taking more selfies then," Seth said ruffling Alexa's hair.
"No," Trish said to Alexa knowing what she was thinking, "Do not dye your hair black,"
Seth's eyes brightened at the thought of Alexa with black hair, "Yes dye it! Do you know how much that would piss off Bayley if your hair was the same colour as mine?!"
"That's exactly why she shouldn't do it Seth, you don't want to make Bayley any crazier than she is right now, she is a very dangerous and disturbed wrestler, why would you want to provoke her?" Trish said.
"Because she's a wrestler Trish and what better way to get to her than by drawing on her basic in ring instincts?" Seth said and Trish nodded.
"Sounds like you've got a plan," Alexa said to Seth.
"Oh I've got a plan alright, what size are you?" Seth asked her.
"I think I'm a French size 8," Alexa said and Seth rolled his eyes.
"So you're a 6," Seth said and he looked at Randy. "You gotta minus at least 2 sizes,"
Randy nodded at Alexa pulled at her waist holding invisible fat.
"There's nothing there Lexi, if you wanna feel fat wrap your hands around my husband's head," Trish said and Randy gave her a look of disapproval.
"My head is not fat it's just full of dreams," Randy Orton said as Alexa continued to critique her body.
"Hey Roman when are you getting back from L.A?" Seth said to Roman Reigns on his cell-phone. "I need to see you and Dean right away. I'm thinking about adding a female member to the Shield,"
Alexa gasped in delight, "You think he's talking about me?" she asked The Ortons who nodded that he was.
"What do you mean you promised your wife that she could be the first female Shield member? She's not even a wrestler?!" Seth argued with Roman. "Yes we will talk about this when you get back from L.A. What do you mean you're bringing Sasha with you?"
Trish and Randy exchanged glances and Alexa wondered what they were thinking, it was probably the same thing she was thinking that Sasha should be the first Shield member, not her.
"No Roman I don't wanna talk to Sasha I just want you to agree to my idea. Hey Sasha, you think it's a great idea too?! I knew I could count on you, you're the only person who gets it. It'll be the perfect way to get to Bayley, you wanna design Alexa's Shield outfit? Okay just don't make it look like the way Drake Maverick looked when he joined AOP,"
"I don't think she'll need a make over after tonight," Randy said to his wife and Trish nodded. The Truth Couple knew that Alexa was in for more a change of hair colour and clothing and they couldn't wait to see her face when it happened.
"No Dean, no Renee cannot be the first female Shield member. What do you mean it's not up for debate I'm telling you that's not going to happen. Just get back here we'll talk it all out. No I cannot come and get you, just fly commercial. No my prayer shawl is not a transportation device plus I'm not allowed to use it anymore," Seth said and he turned to Alexa, "This might take awhile, you might wanna wait in the car," he said to her.
"Okay," Alexa said, she loved riding in Seth's car.
"Roman tell Sasha to stay put, I'll see you in New York. We all need to talk," Randy Orton said taking Seth's cell-phone.
Seth gave Orton a sheepish look, "Sorry about that, Sasha just misses me. Apparently she's crazy about me, I just thought she thought I was nice," Seth joked but Randy was serious.
"Lexi stay here and talk to my wife, I'll go ride with Seth. Come on Rollins, let's take a little spin around the block," Randy said putting his arm around Seth who looked over at Alexa nervously wondering what this was about.
As they left Trish watched them go, when they were out of the room Trish turned to Alexa suddenly.
Her face was very serious and Alexa wondered what was up. "Gees Trish are you okay? I can see even more wrinkles in your face than usual,"
"Alexa I need you to listen to me, I look great with wrinkles and all," Trish said and Alexa laughed.
"Is that what you wanted to tell me?" Alexa asked Trish.
"No I just wanted to let you know I don't have any insecurities about my looks, you on the other hand have more than enough for everyone. After tonight you are going to have to fight harder than ever before but this fight will not be a physical fight, it will be a spiritual one. You see Alexa, after tonight you are going to fall head over heels in love with someone and it going to be extremely hard for you to control how you feel about him. This is going to affect you so badly that you're going to feel like your whole world is going to be turned upside down. In a way your life is going to turn upside down but when this happens Alexa, you have got to be strong and you have got to fight against your feelings. This person that you're going to fall in love with does not feel the same way and if you pursue him he is going to turn on you," Trish said and Alexa laughed.
"Okay Trish, that's not going to happen because I'm engaged to be married. I'm already in love! I'm in love with Buddy Murphy okay, there is no-one else. I know you're the Truth: Trish Stratus but you are way off on this one," Alexa said.
"This is going to happen tonight so you won't believe me right now, later on you'll be blowing up my phone asking for me to explain everything, which I will because I'm the Truth: Trish Stratus and that's what I do," Trish said.
"You've obviously been hit in the head one too many times Trish, now if you're done making up random stories about my love life and ripping off Mark Henry's catch phrase, can I please go now?" Alexa said angrily.
"Where are you going?" Trish asked her.
"I thought you were the Truth: Trish Stratus don't you already know where I'm going?" Alexa said sarcastically. "I'm going to Seth, he's the only person I can trust, he's a real friend, he's not a liar like you. He'll always tell me the Truth,"
"I'm not a liar Alexa, if you wanna hang on to your fiancé for a few more hours you go right ahead and do that but after tonight, you are going to have to let him go," Trish said gently. "That won't be easy for you to do, but believe it or not, I'm here to help you through this,"
Trish stroked the side on Alexa's face gently and Alexa batted her hand away from her face angrily, "Get through what?! I'm not breaking up with my fiancé Trish, you're out of your mind!"
Alexa stormed away from Trish leaving the Truth alone with her thoughts, "Maybe I should make sausage pasta for dinner," she said and she walked into her kitchen to see if there was any sausage left in the fridge.
Alexa and Buddy's apartment, Broad Street, Orlando, FL at 7pm
Alexa received a call from Buddy telling her he had to speak to her and that it was really important. When he called her she was with Seth and now she was shaking. After what Trish had told her it was the last thing she wanted to deal with. Seth came with her but when he prayed nothing happened, she was still panicking after a three hour flight to Orlando from New York City. Seth had to support her as they arrived at her apartment, her legs were weak and she was hyperventilating.
"Alexa it's alright, Buddy just wants to see you what's the problem? You guys haven't seen each other in weeks he probably just misses you like crazy," Seth said and suddenly he was thinking about Sasha Banks, the woman he missed like crazy.
Alexa was making herself heavy so Seth had to lift her up so she could walk to the door.
"Where are your keys?" Seth said and Alexa pulled her keys out of her purse and gave them to Seth as she was too weak to open the door herself. Seth opened the door and pushed the door back so Alexa could walk in without banging her head on it. Alexa saw boxes all packed up and Buddy was standing by the stairs with a sad look on his face. She grabbed her head feeling dizzy and Buddy took a deep breath.
"Hi Lexi, hi Seth," Buddy said with a smile at the Prayer Warrior.
Seth frowned wondering what was going on, "What's with all the boxes, are you guys moving?" Seth asked.
Buddy came over to Alexa and he could see that she was a mess and he hadn't even said what he had to say. "No, we're not moving. I'm moving," he said and Alexa felt her heart race in anxiety of what was coming next and she held onto Seth's forever aching arm for dear life.
"Ow Lexi not so hard! Where are you going Buddy?" Seth asked Alexa's fiancé.
"I'm going back to Australia for awhile and I don't know when I'm coming back," Buddy said and Seth narrowed his brow.
"But what about Alexa, she can't go to Australia she's full-time on the roster," Seth said. "Are you guys taking a break?"
"No we're not taking a break, we're breaking up," Buddy said and Alexa screamed.
"NO!" she cried and she ran up the stairs leaving Seth shrugging.
"What's with her? You'd think she'd never ended a relationship before," Seth said and he hugged Buddy. "Hope whatever you got planned in Australia works out for you,"
Buddy hugged Seth back, "Man I'm glad you came with Alexa, I don't think she could get through this without you. You're her rock Seth,"
Seth pulled away from Buddy and gave him a stern look, "Buddy I'm not the reason you're leaving for Australia right? I promise you nothing is going on between me and Alexa we're just friends,"
"I know you're just friends Seth, I've never been more convinced of that. You've done more for Alexa in six weeks than I've done in two years, you're a stand up guy and I know she'll be in good hands," Buddy said and Seth looked at all the boxes.
"You want some help moving your stuff out?" Seth asked him and Buddy nodded; he couldn't wait to get out of Orlando and leave Alexa behind.
As Seth helped him pack his stuff into his car he got a message from Trish and Randy telling him to get Alexa and meet them at Winter Park with Amy and Shawn. They were all going to Harvard as there had been a family emergency. Seth sighed, under the circumstances he thought that it would be best if he stayed with Alexa and be a good friend. Trish and Randy shot that idea down and said under no circumstances was Seth to stay in the apartment with Alexa and that he was to leave right now.
Seth nodded knowing it was better not to argue with the Ortons and he ran up to Alexa and dragged her deflated body over his shoulder.
Suddenly a loud thud rang out through the house and the sound of pigs screaming could be heard all around them.
"What's that sound?" Alexa asked Seth and the Prayer Warrior shook his head.
"I don't know but I know it's not good," Seth said and he was right, it wasn't good.
It was Bayley Black Heart and she was out for revenge.
