Hello everyone, hope everyone is safe during this crisis. During the lockdown I have more time to write and with this time I'm starting off fresh with a new story.
Quickly, for those who are new and don't know. One of the OCs' names Jesús is pronounced (Hay-Soos)
So without further ado here's first chapter of Kingdom Of Hearts.
The blades of grass swayed gracefully back and forth against the gentle breeze. A loud roar echoed through the sunset sky. As a grazing herd of antelope lifted their heads in the direction of the frightful noise before belting as they leapt away.
In the heart of the land stood a old, mountain structure. The inhabitants, Pridelanders call the kopje priderock. On the first right, on the slope was a cave that was used as a infirmary. But this evening it was used as a nursery as the queen of the Pridelands' cousin went into labor.
"How much longer?" huffed a light brown lioness. Her dark brown eyes locked on the cave entrance.
A tawny-peach lioness smiled at her friend before giving her a affectionate head bump. "Don't worry Kula. Tufani will be fine. Our mothers are in there along with Kiara."
Attention went to a tan lioness with a tan tuff on her head who growled in irritation. Causing a dark brown, darker brown mane lion to huff in annoyance.
A creamy lioness rolled her greenish eyes, that she inherited from her father and aunt at the king and his sister. "What is your problem now?"
The lioness grunted with narrowed purple eyes. "Your sister is first to give birth and she doesn't have a mate."
Before anyone there was a clearing of a throat. Causing everyone to turn to see the Pridelands Queen. The gold-orange lioness turned to Kula with exhusted brown eyes.
"You may go in now."
Queen Kiara watched first Kula and her cubhood friend Tiifu go in before everyone else following her mate.
She heard what her sister-in-law said and knew that it was a lash at her. As queen it's her duty to provide an heir. But she have tried, the night after the union and every few weeks after.
Kiara flattened her ears against her head as mumbles of agreement went throughout the pride. Kiara's brown eyes widened as tears formed. Not feeling well herself, Kiara turned and headed for the cave under the kopje. Once inside, Kiara walked towards the back and plopped down. Not caring it wasn't proper for a lioness or a Queen.
"Kiara,"
The gold-orange lioness lifted her head to see her other cubhood friend. "Binx," she had nothing to say she was confused with the behaviour of her family and pride. As well as the off distance between her and Kovu.
The tawny-beige lioness' pale green eyes held concern. "Are you alright? That was pretty unfair what happened? Vitani had no right to say that."
Kiara turned her head, she didn't want to talk to anyone about what just happened. It was embrassing to witness her parents and pride praising Tufani while she gets repermanded like a cub.
Binx pinned her own ears before leaving the sulking queen.

Nine Months Later
The sun was shining high in the afternoon bright blue sky. The current cubs of the pride was in a game of baobab fruit ball. Including Vitani's son, Thane. The dark tan cub tossed the greenish-yellow fruit where a red-brown cub leapt up and caught it in his tan muzzle with a flip before landed on his tan paws.
A six month dark brown cub frowned as he pinned his black-rimmed ears. That was supposed to be his catch as Thane was one of her team-mates. But with that catch the red-brown cub, Jesús' team won and everyone knows that Jesús' older twin brother isn't too keen to losing.
Jesús turned his glinting dark brown eyes towards his pouting creamy-white brother. "Haha! You lost, slow poke!" the red-brown cub taunted proudly.
Luis growled before smirking. Before Jesús knew it, his brother pounced on him, sending them tumbling. Before the brothers could retaliate a loud roar echoed through the air causing the cubs to sit in alert as the roar was answered by the king.
