Marinette shuffled the pictures of Adrien in a small pile and shoved them in her wardrobe. She then hurried to her bed to make sure the rest of her pictures of Adrien were safely tucked under her pink mattress. She looked around her room frantically to think of what else she needed to hide.

"Marinette calm down." Tikki flew near her human's face. Marinette couldn't calm her nerves though. Adrien would be there any minute now to look over some designs she had come up with for his father's next fashion show. It was a dream come true, just last week Marinette had entered a contest, a chance to show off original designs at the next Gabriel Agreste fashion show. Marinette was the lucky person picked, and to make the treat sweeter Adrien offered to look over some of her designs, just to assure her they would be Gabriel Agreste approved.

Now she had to make sure every inch of her room was clear from any evidence that she was in love (and perhaps just a tad bit obsessed) with Adrien. "Tikki this whole room has to be Adrien free. I would die of embarrassment if he found any pictures of himself he doesn't already know about."

"Marinette! Adrien is here!"

"Eep!" Marinette jumped up at her mom's call. She made sure to get one more good look around before Adrien would come up there. Tikki quickly flew under the bedsheets when she heard the bedroom door open. There was Adrien who looked up from the stairs to see Marinette waving nervously at him.

"Hey Marinette, ready to show me those designs?" Adrien climbed in her room and closed the door under him.

"H-hey A-Adrien!" Marinette pulled a chair out for Adrien and she grabbed her sketchbook from her backpack.

Soon the two were engrossed by Marinette's designs. They were all so chic, fun, and feminine. Absolutely Marinette. Adrien traced a drawing of a flowy dress with his finger, amazed that his friend was able to think of something so beautiful. He knew Marinette deserved to have her fashion shown at his father's show, and he wasn't ashamed when he persuaded his father's choice. He knew Marinette wanted this to be fair, but it wouldn't be fair at all if she didn't get this chance. He looked up from the sketch book and at his bubbly friend, she rambled on about which type of fabric she wanted to use and how she was thankful that his father would be providing the supplies to make these designs.

Adrien smiled. That's what he always did when he was with Marinette. It was hard to be in a bad mood with her or grow tired of her rambling on about fashion. Each time they were alone Adrien found himself growing more and more interested to what she had to say, what made her tick, or just what was on her mind. That's what it was like to have a good friend right? Though at that moment Marinette almost reminded him of Ladybug. They were both so passionate and that's one of the many things he loved about Ladybug.

"These are going to look amazing Marinette." Adrien said.

"Really? Do you think your father would really like them?" Marinette asked. She drew her sketchbook closer to her and closed it. She held it tight against her chest. Not only was Gabriel Agreste a worldwide famous designer, but he was also a terrifying man. Marinette's confidence was only so thin.

"He would be crazy not to like these. You're a very talented person." Adrien put a hand on Marinette's shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze. Marinette looked at him, just the single touch of Adrien could make Marinette turn to mush. She almost forgot to breath at that long half minute of his comforting touch.

"C-cookies!" Marinette squeaked out. At Adrien's confused look she continued. "W-we have cookies downstairs! I forgot I baked them earlier for us. I'll just go downstairs and get them." Marinette hopped out of her chair and ran downstairs. Adrien heard her trip on a step and grumble to herself as she continued to the bakery.

Adrien laughed at his friend's usual clumsiness. It was just an adorable quirk of Marinette. Plagg flew out of his hiding space and looked downstairs. "That girl would trip even if her feet were glued to the floor."

"Plagg it's not Marinette's fault." Adrien said. "she just...doesn't get along with gravity much."

"Yeah right, I just hope she brings some cheese with those cookies."

"You're unbelievable." Adrien stood up from the chair. He wanted to stretch from sitting so long in the chair. He took a look around Marinette's room, it was so pink. He looked at the pictures on her wall, most were of him. Adrien knew Marinette only had those pictures to use as reference for her designs, she was a fashion designer after all. He looked at the corner of her room and noticed a pink sleeve sticking out of her wardrobe. He made his way over to the wardrobe and picked the sleeve up.

"What are you doing?" Plagg asked.

"I'm just sticking this shirt back in her wardrobe." Adrien grabbed the handle on the wardrobe.

"Uh, I've only been around for a few thousand years, but isn't it bad to go through a girl's closet?" Plagg followed his human.

"I'm just helping her. She must have rushed to clean up her room." Adrien opened the wardrobe and at that very second was bombarded by pictures...of himself.

"Wow." Plagg looked at the floor that now had a pile of pictures.

Adrien was speechless. He had never seen so many pictures of himself. There were so many, some he wasn't even sure how Marinette got a hold of. He picked some of them up, feeling his face go red. He knew Marinette used his pictures for references, but this was a bit extreme.

He quickly put them back in the wardrobe, ashamed that he had evaded his friend's privacy. Or had she evaded his? He wasn't sure.

"Someone's in love with you." Plagg said. He flew near Adrien, feeling the heat coming from his face.

"N-no, no no no this is just a mistake. She must have used those pictures to help design the outfits for the fashion show. Yeah that's it." Adrien could feel the doubtfulness in Plagg's face, but he refused to believe those pictures meant anything else.

He could feel himself sweating from his warm face. He needed air, fresh air. Adrien climbed up Marinette's bed and was about to open her window, but felt his hands slip from the bedsheets. He grabbed what he thought was the window blinds string, but instead was a string that pulled down a huge poster full of time slots and words. Adrien took a closer look, these looked so familiar. Suddenly his eyes widened when he figured out why. This was a schedule. His schedule.

"Oh...fuck..." Adrien bit his tongue. He hated to curse. But he had no other words to describe this moment.

"Oh wow." Plagg laughed. "Now that's nuts!"

"Plagg we need to go." Adrien pulled the string again to pull up the poster back in its hiding space.

Adrien climbed down the bed so fast he almost tripped on the last step. He had to leave fast to clear his head. This was all too much. He felt his breath shorten while he processed all this, or at least tried to. He felt himself step backwards and bang into Marinette's computer desk. He turned around to see the monitor turn on. That was the last straw. Adrien came face to face to himself on Marinette's computer screen.

He suddenly heard the door open. Adrien turned the monitor off, not wanting Marinette to know about this.

"I hope you like chocolate chip." Marinette carried a plate full of cookies.

"Marinette! I-I-I have to go! My father just called! Big emergency!" Adrien moved around Marinette, not sure how to act around her at this moment.

"Huh?" Marinette looked confused by his abruptness.

"I'm sorry, I have to go!" Adrien hurried down the stairs, but turned around to face Marinette. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Marinette was left there, unaware of what Adrien found. Tikki flew out of Marinette's shirt collar. She had snuck in there to follow Marinette to the bakery, hoping to calm Marinette and reassure that she was doing great in front of Adrien. Now she was unsure what to say. Not even Tikki knew what happened.

Adrien had made it back home twenty minutes ago. Twenty minutes later he was still pacing around in his room. He knew what he saw in Marinette's room, he couldn't pretend that he didn't see it. All of it.

"What am I supposed to do Plagg?" Adrien was turning into a nervous wreck. He had been stalked before, he's a gorgeous super model after all. He had experienced crazy fans left to right, having to go around Paris with a bodyguard. So, this wasn't new to him. What was throwing him off was that it was Marinette! Adrien didn't know how to handle this. Should he get a restraining order? Get a second body guard? Wait! Stop that! What was he thinking? This was Marinette, sweet, kind, and perfectly harmless Marinette. His friend.

"Oh puh-lease! You can't seriously be surprised by this. You had to know she had a crush on you for some time now." The kwami flew onto the big bed, getting comfortable on the blue pillow.

Adrien thought to himself for a minute. Was Plagg right? Sure, Marinette was nervous around him all the time, stuttering and mixing up words. And sure, there had been that incident during the troublemaker fiasco, all those pictures of Adrien in her room shown on live TV. But how was he supposed to connect all those dots together?

"Plagg I'm serious! How am I suppose to talk to her tomorrow?" Adrien sat down on his desk chair, slumping his shoulder. He heard his phone beep and looked down at the screen name. He threw his phone on his bed, "Ah!"

"What?" Plagg flew up to see what startled his human.

"It's her! It's Marinette!"

Adrien stood up to pick his phone up from the bed. He felt his stomach turn over and over with uneasiness. Had she found out that he knew about this? Was she going to beg to keep this between them? There was only one way to find out.

Woah.

I know that's crazy, but it just came to me a few nights ago. What would happen if Adrien found out how deep Marinette's crush really is? I'm honestly not sure what else to write, I'm all for Adrienette, but is he going to accept this? Reject her? I really don't know.
