Flick woke with a jolt, in a cold sweat, she clawed at her chest and neck begging for air that didn't want to come, red lines were left in the wake of her nails, she pedaled her feet kicking off the blanket while her fingers reached out for her brother, she was greeted by cold air.'I'm alone, I'm alone, I'm alone' the thought was set on replay in her mind. "Flick?" it was Walter she looked at him, her eyes pleading that it was really him, he looked utterly shocked. She moved with a speed she didn't know she had, her arms wrapped tightly around him as she sobbed into his chest. "OK. Flick. Need. Air" said Walter breathlessly patting his sisters back awkwardly, she let go and stepped back, rubbing her eyes from tears. "What happened" he asked, moving down slightly to her height, he saw the red marks on her collar bone. "Nightmare, I used to get them all the time when you were gone" she said. "Flick I'm not going anywhere" he said embracing his sister, she cried into his shoulder.'But I am' she thought.
