Josie and The Pussycats tambourine player Valerie Brown was standing on stage with Melody and Josie preforming, though the ebony woman loved doing this, she had grown increasingly tired of the rockstar life and longed for something different.

Then, one night while the group was in Orlando, Florida Valerie had heard about the WWE's Performance Center and the applications they offered for anyone looking to become a WWE Superstar. Valerie goes inside and picks up an application and fills it out before handing it to a staff member and leaving.

Valerie then heads back to the hotel, she doesn't tell Josie or anyone else about what she had done.

Josie begins to notice that Valerie began distancing herself from her, Melody, and the others regularly, opting to go to a gym and workout rather than hang out or even go solve a mystery. One night after a long and miserable three hour press event that included signing autographs Valerie heads back to the hotel to shower and change into her workout gear, while she was tying the laces of her boots Valerie hears a knock on her suite's door.

"Who is it?"

"It's Josie. We need to talk, Val." the redhead says from the other side of the door.

Reluctantly, Valerie rises and walks over to the door and opens it, revealing Josie McCoy, her friend and bandmate, she raises an eyebrow as she takes in Valerie's attire.

"What's up, Josie?"

"I just-what's going on with you, Valerie? Are you not happy in the group or something?" the redhead inquired.

Valerie held her silence, choosing instead to roll her eyes at Josie's comment.

"Come on Val, talk to me about what's going on with you, I mean all you do is isolate yourself from the rest of us and we're all worried about you."

"I can't talk right now Josie, I promise that I'll tell you and the others everything soon."
