A/N: I have so many unfinished prompts. Let's hope this one makes it out. Oh, and they're just friends.

"Ok Shauna, I'm gonna do it," Zeke said, eyeing the escalators.

"That's probably a bad idea, Zeke. Don't," Shauna said sternly, sitting next to Zeke on a chair. They were in the Century City Mall, people-watching on a bench.

"I'm gonna try climbing the escalator going down and then I'm gonna walk down using the one that's going up," Zeke said, a boyish grin smeared on his face as he got up.

"Fine, do it," Shauna said with a shrug. He wasn't gonna actually do it, right?

"Watch me," Zeke said before quickly walking to the escalator.

"Wait! Save my seat," He called over his shoulder. Shauna protectively put her hand over his chair. Shooting Shauna a smile, Zeke began to climb the descending escalator. Shauna saw people glare at him and yell about how what he was doing wasn't right. It was almost amusing to see people getting so riled up over a 19-year-old who broke the rules. Zeke waved at Shauna when he was at the top.

"And now, the grand descent," he yelled, pointing at Shauna, causing a few heads to turn and look up at him. Shauna watched as the boy zig-zagged through people as fast as he could as he made his way down the ascending elevator.

"I did it," Zeke said, jogging up to Shauna, his face slightly flushed.

"Everyone is staring at you," Shauna said, shaking her head, a smile curling up her lips.

"Yeah, that's kinda the point,"

"Oh my god. Why did I agree to hang out with you?"

"Because I'm your friend. And, because you can't resist this," Zeke said, gesturing to his body.

"Oh, shut up. Everyone can resist whatever the hell that it,"

"Ouch, Shauna you hurt my feelings,"

"Yeah, that's kinda the point," Shauna said, quoting Zeke.

"Did you just use my line against me?"

"Yeah,"

"C'mon, get up. We're walking," Zeke said.

"Make me," Shauna said, crossing her arms, glaring at Zeke.

"Fine," Zeke said, pulling Shauna up easily.

"I'm not moving,"

"Oh, really?"

"Yeah,"

"Ok then I guess I'm gonna browse the cards in Papyrus and Hallmark all by myself," Zeke said slowly.

"What? Let's go," Shauna said, suddenly ready to go. There was something so fun about browsing the cards. Especially the ones with puns and funny graphics.

"Oh, so now we're walking," Zeke said, letting out a small laugh. They walked in a comfortable silence, pointing out small things along the way.

"It's there!" Zeke said loudly, grabbing Shauna's hand before full out sprinting into the Hallmark shop.

"Slow down," Shauna said, as she was pulled into the shop, panting from the unexpected sprint.

"Slow-poke," Zeke teased, still holding her hand.

"Stupid," Shauna said teasingly. They both looked at the cards, scanning the rows of them.

"God, look at this one. 'Blow me'" Zeke held up a card that had a party horn saying 'blow me'.

"That's terrible," Shauna said with a laugh, "Look at this one. 'You're so hot even soup be like 'Damn.''"

"Wait, this one! ' 4 out of 5 cats don't care that it's your birthday'" Zeke held up a card with equally lazy-looking cats.

"'I fell for you, and not in the clumsy way I usually fall," Shauna said, letting out a laugh while holding up a card.

"'For God's sake put this back on'" Zeke said, holding up a card that featured two cupcakes, one without a cupcake liner.

"I might actually buy that one," Shauna said.

"'This sweetest day card does not contain any nudity, sex, or naughty language' but on the inside it says 'these things I will provide in person' with an exclamation mark," Zeke said, cracking up. They knew that they might've been making a small ruckus in the store, but not enough for them to be kicked out.

"God must have known I was going to be a hot mess," Shauna said, holding up a card that featured a burning stove.

"Hey, Shauna?" Zeke asked suddenly, whispering.

"What?"

"I dare you to ask the cashier where the Papyrus store is," A smirk creeped up his lips.

"I'm not doing that!" Shauna whisper-yelled.

"Please? It'll be funny? I'll buy you the cupcake card?"

"Don't waste your money on a card," Shauna scoffed. Zeke thought for a moment.

"How about food?"

"Deal," Shauna said immediately.

"Damn, that was easy. Who cares about dignity when you have free food? "

"Free food is always the right incentive when it comes to dares. Even if it means kinda handing over your dignity,"

"Well, I'll be waiting here. You go ask," Zeke said, subtly pointing to the register.

"Ok," Shauna said, slowly walking up to the register.

"Can I help you?" the girl at the register said.

"Actually, I was wondering if you knew where Papyrus is," Shauna said smoothly (well, as smoothly as someone can ask a store where their competitor is located).

"I'm actually not sure if they're open anymore. I think they're closing down. Because they're bankrupt," the lady said with a straight face.

"Ok," a faint pink flooded Shauna's face.

"Is there anything else I can help you with?"

"No, thanks. Bye," Shauna said quickly, speed walking out of the store. Zeke followed behind her, smiling.

"That was harsh," Zeke said, letting out a small laugh.

"Are they going bankrupt?"

"Let me look it up," Zeke said, pulling out his phone, "Oh, they actually are. Wow," Zeke said, flashing his screen to Shauna.

"Oh,"

"That sucks,"

"Yeah,"

"They had really cool cards,"

"I'm actually kinda sad right now," Shauna said, frowning.

"Don't look now but I think the cashier is looking at us,"

"Tell me when I can look. Yeah, maybe we shouldn't have stood right in front of the store,"

"See, this is why you're my favorite person. When I say 'don't look now' you don't don't look! Also, yeah. Let's move a little and then you can look," They both walked a few steps away from the store before Shauna, looked at the shop casually to find the cashier watching them.

"Oh, you're right,"

"I'm always right,"

"I beg to differ,"

"When have I not been right?" Zeke asked. Shauna shot him a pointed look that asked 'really?'

"Don't answer that," Zeke said quickly.

"Why? I have plenty of examples,"

"You're mean,"

"You're stupid,"

"So is your face,"

"Shut up. I only hang out with you cause you give me free food. Also? A 'your face' comeback is weak," Shauna said, rolling her eyes.

"Ouch. I guess it's time to feed the beast," Zeke said, feigning pain.

"What do you wanna get?"

"That's a good question. Healthy or trash?" Zeke asked.

"Healthy,"

"You're no fun," Zeke whined.

"And I'm also not tryna kill my body at 19," Shauna said pointedly.

"Live a little,"

"I won't get to live a little if I die early due to heart disease,"

"Shut up," Zeke said, nudging Shauna gently,

"You shut up," Shauna said, nudging him slightly harder.

"Shut your face,"

"Shut your face,"

"I thought you said a 'your face' comeback is weak," Zeke said, smirking.

"I thought you were going to buy me food," Shauna said, playfully glaring.

"Yeah, well I didn't think I'd have to get you some expensive, all-natural, healthy food,"

"Can we make pasta instead?" Shauna said, stopping suddenly, grabbing Zeke's arm to stop him.

"Make pasta or buy pasta?" Zeke asked carefully.

"Make," Shauna clarified.

"Hell yeah!"

"Do we have all the ingredients we need?" Shauna asked.

"No, but my mom's house does," Zeke said, smiling.

"Time to crash your mom's house once again,"

"Thank god my mom likes you,"

"She likes me more than she likes you," Shauna said.

"That is not true!"

"Well who always does the dishes at her house when they're over?"

"Hey! That-"

"Who always helps her make food when they come over?" Shauna asked, cutting him off.

"Ok, so-"

"Who actually helps clear the table instead of pretending they have to go to the bathroom when they really just sit on their phone and wait until all the work is done?"

"Ouch, Shauna. Way to rub it in,"

"Just stating the facts, lazy,"

"It's not being lazy! I actually have to go to the bathroom!" Zeke said, laughing. Shauna gave him a pointed look, "most of the time,"

"Sure, Ezekiel," Shauna said. They walked in silence until they entered the parking lot, both of them with eyes on the car

"Race you to the car!" Zeke yelled, gently pushing Shauna to the side as he ran off towards the car.

A/N: I kinda really enjoyed writing this. Like a lot. I know it has 0 plot but I kinda enjoy writing about my dumb memories that include Lana. I cannot tell you how much time I've spent in card shops (Papyrus is closing and I'm sad). Review a question and I'll answer it the next time I post. I couldn't proof-read, sorry :(

Someone help I accidentally talked to a stranger while writing this.

Ok so can we talk about Coronavirus? Cause I'm kinda scared. I have cousins in Italy who are stuck there and like they've quarantined so many people so I'm just trying to talk to them every day (It's basically just us yelling in Italian over the phone). My university is moving to online classes and California has over 100 cases which suckkks.
