Yes, this is a rewrite of a rewrite, but I came up with a better plot that I planned out a lot more extensively. Also, I added a lot of other people headcanons and lore to this, so if you have a question about that, feel free to leave a review about it, and I'll answer either with a PM or within the a/n at the beginning. Anyways, here's the summary:
It was never supposed to happen. Rusty has never been born, and Tigerstar has now risen as leader of ThunderClan. BloodClan and ThunderClan create an unsteady alliance born out of territory greed and power-hungry leaderships. The other clans are falling apart due to the continual attacks by both them and Brokenstar's minions that are still hanging around, along with the problems that come with a late spring.
In desperation to ensure their clans' survival, four StarClan cats kidnap eleven twolegs, giving them a seven moon time limit to save the clans in exchange for their return home... if they succeed. However, with the odds stacked up against the young ones and their own anger at StarClan for doing this to them, only time will tell if they manage to complete their goal or not.
Prologue- Interferance
The lands of StarClan were awfully silent tonight. A dark brown tabby tom was sitting by a wide river, the water warbling quietly near his paws. Brightly colored pine tree swayed to a gentle breeze, which cooled the night air and made the tom shiver. He stared into the distance, amber eyes squinting and narrow. The tom sat up suddenly and began to pace, muttering obscenities under his breath, tail lashing back and forth in irritation.
"Damn them all, where are they?!" He growled to himself. He then sighed and sat down again, claws digging into the ground as his tail continued to move like a wild snake.
"I swear, if they don't get here within the next ten minutes, I'm gonna swipe their ears off!"
"That won't be necessary, Raggedstar" A molly's voice spoke from behind him. Raggedstar leaped a foot in the air and spun around, hackles raised, only to recongize the molly behind him almost instantly. She was an elegant cat, tall and slender with medium length, blue gray fur that seemed to contain stars in them. Her sharp blue eyes and white pupils burning into his gaze.
"What the, Bluestar, where'd you... ergh, nevermid." The former leader growled, turning away from the ThunderClan leader. He stared at his scowling reflection in the water of the river, muttering to himself, "I suppose the others will never show up then..."
Bluestar raised a narrow eyebrow, her tail that was curled tightly over her paws flicking in thought.
"I presume you mean the ones that helped you kidnap those twoleg kits from their home?"
Raggedstar's eyes went as wide as full moons and his head whipped around to stare at the former ThunderClan leader as if she had grown two heads.
Bluestar flicked an ear at his response, before adding, "Because if so, Silverpelt has dealt with them, and I was instructed to find you."
Raggedstar's jaw dropped, his lower left eyelid twitching as the fur along his back and neck bristled with anger.
"What's that supposed to means?!" He snapped. Bluestar scoffed.
"They were banished from StarClan. Do try to keep up, Raggedstar."
Raggedstar stood stock still for a second, before an enraged snarl twisted him face, lips peeled back to show two rows of dagger-sharp teeth and claws sliding out.
"Silverpelt damnit, Bluestar!" He exploded, "Those twolegs were our last hope! None of the loners would be interested in even lending a single paw to help, the other kittypets can't seem to find the energy to get off their asses for a single second, the clan cats are too focused on their own survival or greed, so the twolegs are our only hope! I hope you don't plan on getting rid of them, because without them, the clans will die a slow and painful death! Did you really forget how your own deputy murdered you in cold blood?!"
Bluestar flattened her ears and lashed her tail, a low rumble emitting from her throat. She growled quietly, "Do you really think I've forgotten Tigerclaw so easily? He'll destroy the clans for certain, but that is no reason to bring the clans' worst enemies into a fight that was not their own! As cats, at that!"
Her paws lit up with bright blue energy, her eyes narrowed as she stood up and began to pad towards Raggedstar. The dark brown tabby's eyes once more flew open, and he took a step back, all anger leaving him to be replaced with utter terror.
"Wait wait, Bluestar, please don't- I didn't mean- you can't-"
"You most certainly can be banished, Raggedstar. Being a leader does not exempt you from the rules." Bluestar growled. She lifted a paw and then slammed it into the pebbly shore, the ground beneath Raggedstar's paws creaking and falling out. The leader looked up from her with a terrified expression, shortly before the ground split into a gaping black hole that swallowed the StarClan cat. Bluestar looked down at him as he fell deeper and deeper, contempt clear as day in her eyes.
"Until you have earned Silverpelt's trust once more, you shall remain on mortal ground, guiding the poor souls you have brought into the fight that wasn't their own." She stated, her voice echoing inside Raggedstar's ears.
