Hey, guys just to play some context for you guys. Anakin and Padme never met each other they are just two jedi. Anakin survives the purge, and Palpatine begins sending stormtroopers to kill him. Anakin is still the Chosen One, Qui-Gon was his master Obi Wan wasn't. That is all I will give you I hope you enjoy.
Chapter 1: The Purge
Anakin is on a speeder that he stole speeding through the desolate land of Tatooine. He was being pursued by numerous stormtroopers on republic era BARC speeders.
"How many of them are there, it's like it's never ending", Anakin shouts.
Anakin knew with the force he would be able to outrun them, and so he did making it to the Lars homestead in record time.
He walked in the home and sensed something out of the ordinary. He began to see things thrown all over the place. He decides to check further and gasps at what he saw. It was Owen and Beru's helpless corpses sitting on the floor dead. He remembered when he stayed with them one night, that they would die together then let any intruders take their home. Anakin dropped to thr ground and began to cry, they were the only family he had left, his mother, his master, the jedi everyone he knew was gone. Even his padawan who left the order before the purge was gone and Anakin suspects that she is probably dead as well.
As Anakin sits there sobbing he senses the stormtroopers closing in on his position. He knew he had to get out of there. He ran to his starfighter and was happy to see Artoo next to it
"Artoo you alive", says Anakin hugging the astromech.
Artoo happily beeps and boops.
"Yeah I missed you too, says Anakin but we got to get out of here the empire is coming", says Anakin hopping into the cockpit firing the starfighter up.
"Let's go Artoo", says Anakin
Artoo jumps in the starfighter and Anakin takes off.
He decides to put his coordinates for Naboo and punches it into hyperspace.
Meanwhile*
"Get back here Jedi scum", says a stormtrooper.
Padme begins running and deflecting blaster bolts whizzing past her. She was unaware that the empire was occupying Naboo so she knew she had to find a way off the planet. She starts sprinting through the forest slicing down trees hoping to slow down the empire's forces but to no prevail there was so many that they kept coming and coming.
"Artoo prepare my ship for landing", says Anakin entering Naboo's atmosphere.
Artoo then starts beeping loudly which caught Anakin's attention.
"What is it, artoo", says Anakin worried.
Artoo signals to Anakin that he is being pursued by a firefighter.
"Damn, I didn't know they occupied Naboo", says Anakin trying to maneuver.
The tiefighter on Anakin's tail fired his primary blaster hitting Anakin's engine causing his ship to start losing altitude.
Artoo beeps to Anakin about the damage the ship has sustained and that he will have to abandon ship.
"When you think you outran the empire they are always more", says Anakin preparing for impact.
His starfighter crashes into the forests of Naboo.
Anakin is knocked out unconscious. Artoo hops out and scans the surrounding area for any stormtroopers but it was clear, for now.
Few minutes later. Anakin wakes up as he tries to stand up he can feel pain aching throughout his body due to the impact. He pulls out a bacta patch to numb the pain until he finds a safe place to rest.
Anakin hops out and begins walking with Artoo through the dense forests of Naboo. During the walk he felt something weird flow through his body. It's something he never felt in a while, a jedi. He began to concentrate and saw that the jedi was being pursued from a battalion of stormtroopers.
Anakin acted quickly and started running towards the jedi in distress using the force to guide him. Artoo followed behind hovering over the landscape with his thrusters.
Padme was running till she hit a massive wall which caused the stormtroopers to surround her with blasters raised. She looked up to the sky and knew the inevitable was coming, she was going to die.
But she is shocked when she senses a force user approaching, a jedi. She then pulled her lightsaber out, the stormtroopers began to fire blaster bolts. Padme was doing her best deflecting the majority but she was losing her strength, she was not strong enough to handle the amount of bolts being fired at her.
As Anakin approached the jedi he saw that they were getting heavily fired upon. He raised then raised his hand using the force uprooted a massive tree and dropped it on the stormtroopers.
Padme turned to see the force user signaling her to come to him.
As she was running to him Anakin began using the force one more to redirect the blaster bolts that were going towards Padme and sent them back at the stormtroopers.
"We gotta get out of here, do you know where we can go", says Anakin looking at the young jedi.
"Yes, I have a place where we can hide for a few days, but then we would have to leave again", says Padme.
"Lead the way then", says Anakin.
As they started running through the woods, the stormtroopers once again started chasing them. Artoo began spilling oil behind the Anakin and lit the oil causing a massive fire that stopped the stormtroopers.
While running Anakin couldn't help but look at the jedi, she was around his age and was good looking but Anakin remembered the code and dismissed these thoughts of affection.
A few minutes later of running they reached the place. It was a beautiful lake house that was pretty secluded.
"Is this where we are staying", says Anakin oddly confused.
"Yes, is that a problem", says the Padme smirking.
"No, it just seems pretty suspicious because of how nice it looks".
"Well we will be here for a few days, then will we find a different place", says Padme reassuringly.
As they enter the house Padme sits down on the floor exhausted from all the running. Anakin was perfectly fine walking around and looking out the window admiring the gorgeous view of Naboo's landscape.
He then turns to the jedi who seems to be asking for something. She was pointing into the kitchen. Anakin sensed she was thirsty so he used the force to grab a glass of water and handed it to her.
"Thank you", she says putting the glass to the side.
"My name is Padme", says the jedi.
"Hello Padme, my name is Anakin Skywalker", he says sitting down across from her.
"Wait are you the infamous jedi, who they call the Chosen One", says Padme curiously.
"Yes, I am but I honestly hate when people call me the chosen one, I don't feel like I'm all that", says Anakin standing up to look back out the window.
"How could you say that, you won numerous battles for the republic, you are the greatest warrior the jedi ever has", says Padme.
Anakin snaps: "Well look at the jedi now, they are gone. Its just us now."
Padme then puts her head down and walks onto the balcony. Anakin feels her sadness and comes to her.
"I'm sorry for lashing out on you, it's just it has been really hard on me for the past few days, hearing everyone I knew gone, it took a toll on me", Anakin says. He begins to walk away to give her some space, when he feels her hand touch his shoulder.
"I'm sorry, for everything that has happened to you", says Padme.
Anakin just smiled causing her to feel something unusual inside her.
"You should get some rest, you look pretty tired", says Anakin.
"Yeah your right, it has been a long day, running from the empire can get very tiring after a while", says Padme.
"Yeah tell me about it", says Anakin watching her go back into the house.
Moments later Artoo comes to Anakin.
"Hey artoo, how are you doing", says Anakin relieved to see his only friend.
Artoo beeps happily.
"Haha yeah can't believe we got out of that mess. I'm just glad that I still have you", says Anakin patting the astromech.
Anakin then enters the house to see Padme sleeping on the couch. He began to feel his heart start pumping but didn't know why so he decided that his mind was probably playing tricks on him, so he walked into one of the bedrooms and fell asleep.
The Next Day
Padme woke up and saw Anakin out on the balcony meditating. She felt that he probably wanted to be alone but a part of her forced her to go and talk to him.
"Can I join in", says Padme.
"Sure", says Anakin.
They both begin concentrating on see visions of the purge at the jedi temple. They were both on different planets so they never saw the carnage with their own eyes. As they continued they saw countless Jedi and younglings being slaughtered by clone troopers.
Padme couldn't take any more of it and stopped her meditation.
"What's wrong", says Anakin looking worried.
"I just never saw what happened, I never knew how bad it wa...", she begins to sob.
Anakin stands up and quickly starts to comfort her.
"Its ok, Padme your alright", says Anakin placing a hand on her shoulder.
She began to feel a warm sensation when he placed his hand on her. She then turned to him looking at his deep blue eyes.
"I just miss my master", she says crying.
Anakin can feel his immense sadness and says "who was your master" not trying to make her more sad but he wanted to find a way to comfort her.
"My master was Aayla Secure, she was sent on a mission in Felucia, she told me to wait her on Naboo for her return, but the purge happened and." she couldn't finish the rest.
"I know how it feels Padme, my master was killed as well", Anakin states hoping it will comfort her.
"I'm sorry to hear that", says Padme in a sincere tone.
"It's ok, I can still feel him through the force he speaks to me when I am conflicted and is always there for me", says Anakin.
Then Padme sensed Anakin's stress, and it felt like it was tormenting him mentally.
"Are you okay Anakin, I sense something is disturbing", says Padme staring straight at Anakin.
"It's just my padawan, she left the order when she was falsely accused, she was like a younger sister to me, I'm just hoping she is still alive that's all", says Anakin with tears forming in his eyes.
Padme then embraced Anakin to comfort him. As she hugged him Anakin thought of the code, even though most of the jedi were elminated he stood firm by the code. He lightly pushed Padme away from him.
She felt disappointed that he ended the hug so soon.
Anakin then gave her a smile that she couldn't resist and caused her face to turn red.
Padme began to feel better and pulls out her lightsaber igniting a bright green blade illuminating in front of Anakin.
"Would like to duel for practice", says Padme.
Anakin looks at her "I don't know it wouldn't be a fair match", he says in an arrogant tone.
"Oh so you're scared of getting beat by a girl", she says laughing at him.
"Fine have it your way", says Anakin igniting his elegant blue lightsaber.
Then began to duel, right off the bat Anakin knew he was way more powerful then Padme. His use of form V easily overpowered against Padme's basic form I (Shii-cho), even at a disadvantage Padme still put up a good fight. She then used the force to try and take Anakin's lightsaber but failed. Anakin then jumped in the air, using the force took Padme's lightsaber ignited it and landed on her pushing her to the ground. He had both lightsabers ignited aiming at her neck but quickly turned them off.
He then helped her up and handed back her lightsaber.
"You are decent, but still have a lot to learn", says Anakin smiling.
"Just wait sooner or later I will be strong enough that I will beat you in a deal", Padme scowled. This caused Anakin too laugh because Padme was a head shorter than him and seeing her angry just made him chuckle.
"What's so funny", she demanded.
"Oh nothing", says Anakin smiling at her once more then entering the house to talk with Artoo.
Padme stood there feeling weird. "His smile is infectious", she says but remembers the code of not having attachments. "But the jedi are no more", says Padme arguing with herself.
"Idk let me just wait and see if he likes me back", says Padme going back into the house.
She saw Anakin sitting on the floor lifting multiple objects with the force. She wanted to say something to mess him up but her heart felt otherwise.
She gazed at him for a few moments till Anakin turned toward her confused.
"You okay", he says slowing putting down the objects.
"Yeah, yeah just thinking about stuff", Padme said trying hard to hide her blush.
For the first time ever, Padme felt she had feelings for someone else, and that person surprisingly is the chosen one.
