'True beauty is found within...' Here's my version of Disney's classic tale but with a bit of a twist - the beast may not be who you think he is... I do not own Beauty and the Beast!

Maurice finds himself in the clutches of a horrible, monstrous beast after getting lost in the woods. When his daughter, Belle, fails to rescue him from the Beast's castle, Maurice is forced to take matters into his own hands... TALE AS OLD AS TIME

Catherine is forced into a marriage by her aunt after her father dies. She runs away, but is attacked by a mysterious creature. Though spared, she is trapped in the woods with nowhere to go but an elusive mansion, with an even more elusive host.

After 10 months of being apart, all Belle could think of was her husbands long awaited return home. To finally begin her life with her love of was all she ever wanted since the day they were married, but Adams' Princely duties called him away. Now he's back, and among the stories of interesting cities and eccentric royals, he has something dark he's been hiding(very angsty beware!)

Orphaned young and burdened with a secret about her body, Belle has always felt alone. Though successful at keeping her 'deformity' hidden for years, she's now been found out. Cast out from her village due to her 'perversion', she finds an isolated castle in the woods that may hold the key to acceptance and self love. Themes of intersex, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

My life was already over when my husband died and Papa is such a frail man. I could not care for him or myself any longer. Beauty was all I had. It was either the brothel or try to woo the monstrous King Searlus. I chose the latter. It paid better.
