A dark story idea that I'm not even going to tell you about in the description, you'll just have to read it to find out. I will give this warning though, if you have issues with self esteem/self worth and have pre-existing suicidal thoughts then I strongly suggest you stay away from this story.

Hiccup is asked to switch from being a mechanic to a racer on his dad's team, and learns the hard way that the bikes he's worked on for years are almost untameable to ride on track. As Hiccup has to suffer through the growing pains of his new position, his father has to work behind the scenes to get Hiccup to be the best rider he can be. Is this what either of them really wanted?

Berk is lost. Conquered by the barbaric and cruel Yorvani. In an attempt to save his people and their traditions, Prince Hiccup agrees to become consort of War Chief Astrid, Divine Leader of the Yorvani. Will he survive in a new culture? Or will he somehow find love and a new home? [AU. Hiccstrid]

Hiccup left Berk on Toothless after the awful treatment he faced for years. Now, he reunited with an old friend and is helping many Vikings see that dragons are not the enemies. Unfortunately, his past comes back to haunt him and he is forced to confront those who made his life hell. Will Hiccup ever be free, or will he let his dark anger consume him from the inside out?

Reality always seems to be harsher then any fantasy could ever be. A human child thrown away by her own kind, adopted and raised by dragons struggles to understand why she can't be the same as they are and what that means for her future as she works to make a life for herself amongst a people whom share a type of freedom she'll never have.

At the end of How to Train Your Dragon, the villagers accepted Hiccup and Toothless's friendship. What if Toothless didn't know that? This starts when Stoick is looking for Hiccup at the end of HTTYD. [This is rated K because there's a little violence, but it's not bad].

10 years before hiccup met toothless, toothless lost his mate to a storm, and now strange things seem to be happening to Hiccup the night of the dragon raid. Will hiccup find out what is going on, and will toothless ever find love again. Toothcup pairing

After an attack on Berk, it is discovered that Hiccup has taken his first life. Shocked and scared he must now deal with the emotional turmoil that comes from his actions and how it effects everyone around him. (Set during Defenders of Berk.)
