Everything is changing as Hiccup settles into his new role as chief. With mountains of new responsibilities, both Hiccup and Astrid are feeling the strain with nearly daily arguments and fighting. And everyone fears what this could mean for the couple. Could there be a Hiccup without an Astrid?

It's been three years since Hiccup "Died" at the wrath of a Night-Fury But across the ocean a lengthy war ensues, and one side isn't winning. For any New readers please don't judge the whole story by the first 1 or 2 chapters the quality gets much better the deeper you read into the story.

A year after a peaceful trip returned with almost all dead, Hiccup, having to deal with Astrid being among them, falls into a pit of despair that threatens to consume him. Toothless, having known his best friend for so long, tries his best to comfort him, and when everything doesn't work, he discovers that in order to help his best friend, She must change to show him a new flame.

Hiccup and Astrid have recently broken up and so Toothless decided to take Hiccup to the cove where they became friends. There Hiccup asks Toothless an important question.

Everyone on Berk is looking forward to Leap Day, except for Hiccup. For everyone else it's a fun, extra day with which they can do whatever they want. For Hiccup, it's a brutal reminder of his lonely and unhappy past. For Stoick, it's a day that reminds him of his long lost wife— but he's determined to make things up to his son.

SUMMARY: (Modern AU) Zephyr gets into a fight in school against some bullies picking on her brother. Hiccup is called to the Principal's Office and finds out it's sometimes very hard being a Dad. (One shot)
