Jim and Claire find an unidentified object during their journey to New Jersey. They are soon thrown centuries back in time where dragons fly above and burrow below. The couple must hope and pray that their friends from their own time will find a way to bring them back. In the meantime, they make friends with an unusual group of Vikings and Dragons. Troll Market is destroyed, the Heartstone is gone. The trolls of Arcadia Oaks must leave for a new home in New Jersey. Unfortunately, the final battle left the Trollhunter injured with Creeper Sun poison running through his veins and their only chance to save Jim is to travel so far back in time, the world becomes another dimension, one where dragons still soared the skies.

Claire got the trolls out of Trollmarket-but now she has to get herself back to Arcadia. Post Season 1 for Trollhunter, Post Doctor Strange and Homecoming for the MCU. Note that a variety of MCU characters will be making an appearance.

Jim's mom, Barbara Lake, has built a new scientific experiment: a portal to the Ghost Zone. But no matter what she does, it doesn't work, and she leaves town to find new supplies. In her absence, Jim and his friend Toby go to check it out… and accidentally trigger something very dangerous.

Barbara Lake saw an uncomfortably familiar pattern in the behavior of James Lake Junior. She saw it in almost everything he did these days. She had seen it in her friends growing up. She had lived it herself. She just wasn't sure how to help him, so, instead, she calls in a friend.
