Rey meets a mysterious stranger in a bar and can't resist him. She is instantly connected to him. Ben sees this stranger staring at him and decided then and there she must be his.

"B-Ben…" The words escaped Rey's mouth without her permission. The words did not sound. Her voice betrayed her, and for a fleeting moment, she couldn't muster the strength to speak. "N-no… Ben..."

This is me adding my grain of sand in the many theories about the mystery of Rey. The "Anakin Skywalker reborn" theory has been getting a lot of attention. While I love the complexity of the Skywalker patriarch, I don't think this'd be a good idea for the new trilogy. However, reincarnation is fascinating stuff so I'm all for it so long as it's done right, hence my spin on this.

Set during 'The Rise of Skywalker' and starting after their escape from the Steadfast, Finn and Poe work through some unresolved issues from their final mission to defeat the First Order.

Set after TFA new allies appear for the resistance as Kylo Ren begins his final training. He is given charge of a girl who has vaulable information of Luke Skywalker and the resistance and is forced to break her in every way possible..but then something changes... I got the idea for this from this beautiful fan art in a Tweet, which also asked the question: what if Ben appeared to Rey for a single day/night each year, and at one visit, he returned to find her with a child?
