So I had to put aside the one shot I had already written to post at this time, as this other story kind of barged its way in. I have included one of my own favourite OCs from some other fic I wrote (and I have no idea which fic that was) simply because I liked this OC as a person. It's set at this time in history, assuming our favourite couple made it to 2020. I hope you enjoy.

This assumes that Tom sent Ruth back to GCHQ when she spied for them. Several years later, armed with Intel that she can only pass on to Harry in person, she arrives on Malcolm's doorstep unannounced. Not without dangers, that eventually put both hers and Harry's lives at risk.

AU. Major Harry Pearce meets a young woman named Ruth. Their lives together will change them both, but for Ruth, the journey will utterly transform her into someone she never dreamed she could be. But with Harry by her side to support and encourage her, she can become all she was born to be.

A sequel to 'For Being a Little Bad'. Three months later Harry and Ruth are not on good terms. When they are forced to work together off Grid. Tired of their constant bickering the team decide it is time they took a hand in resolving matters.

Current events conspire to affect the team. Can Harry keep his friends and family safe? An unknown pathogen sweeping the world separates the team but Section D still have work to do. Terrorists don't seem to be adhering to the Lockdown - meaning somehow Harry and his team have to keep going when the rest of the world have been ordered to stop

A new case. And old foe. Can a battle of wits and nerve be enough to prevent Armageddon this time? Can Ruth work out what is happening before it is too late? Is it a case of cometh the hour, cometh the geek?

Sequel to All We Were and All We Are: When their blissful new life is put under threat, Harry and Ruth are left fighting for their family's lives. With the dark underbelly of a terrorist circuit revealed much closer to home, they find themselves doubting whether they can ever truly put the past, and MI-5, behind them.

Slight rewrite of 9.8 when Lucas kidnaps Ruth and Harry rescues her, this time with a happier ending.

Set in no particular series and with no bearing on what was, Ruth's on the grid and Harry isn't. That he happens to be on his honeymoon on his own, is down to a misunderstanding. Who better to give them a prod than Ros and Tariq.

Second chances are rare. The first time around, Harry ignored all his rules and let Ruth Evershed into his life, only to lose her to outside forces. When she returns, Harry vows that things will be different but only if can learn from the past.

Another one shot, and another one set in S10, with a twist to canon, just to once again avert the inevitable disaster which emerged (inevitably) during the final series. I wanted to write something chiefly dialogue driven, and which takes place over a short space of time. While he only makes a brief appearance, Tariq's involvement in this story is key.

Harry must race against the clock to make a harrowing rescue. Inspired by "I Bet My Life" by Imagine Dragons.

He's only human, after all. Lucas and Ruth have a shared understanding. Set after 8.2

This one shot is set during S5, where Cotterdam doesn't, and never will exist. I like to think of this story as being a story about Jo, and all the other characters involved are just along for the ride. Rated T for some colourful language.

Set in serie 10, I wasn't happy with the end and couldn't accept that Harry and Ruth wouldn't be together. This is also a rewriting of the story I published a year ago. Starts dark and sad but keep on reading and you'll get fluffy, corny and ... sexy. Hope you enjoy.

Using Series 10 spoilers. Although Harry has successfully returned to the grid, life is not any easier. It seems his life is on the line once again, but this seems to put Ruth in even more danger.

This is a surprise one shot. That is, I hadn't planned to write anything for New Year, but this idea emerged, and refused to go away. In a way this fic is just an excuse to create and flesh out another OC, one I haven't visited before. I hope you enjoy. And a big thank you to all those who are reviewing these occasional one shots of mine. They cannot continue forever.

With each of these one shots I write, I believe I am writing my last one. Then, a week or three later another idea coalesces, so here I am, still doing this. This one shot is a Christmas offering, and while it might at first appear depressing, I perceive it to be an uplifting piece. Most of all I wish you all a peaceful and safe holiday season.

Set mid-s8. Small Christmas fic for Harry and Ruth.

This is another one shot, set after the end of S10, and so providing an alternate, and more satisfying ending to the story. Like a flower the story unfolds, so I can't say any more without revealling too much of the plot.

Set late s9 but in modern day (2019ish). Harry and Ruth find a way to express themselves to each other in the ways they really want to. Inspired partially by Bad Liar by Selena Gomez. Rated VERY M.

Keeping the cast from seasons 9 and 10 together, then fast forwarding to the film, Harry has apparently jumped from the bridge. The question is why?

At the end of 1996, a car bomb destroys half of Section B. As 1997 dawns, the team rebuilds with familiar faces. In the background, the threat that almost destroyed them all strengthens, plotting a scheme that will take all of Section B's resources to foil. Can Harry Pearce's new team come together in time to stop this threat? Or will it be the end before it begins?
