My look about after Forces happened.

It's been 5 years since Sonic and his hedgehog friends played a dangerous board game and won in the end, Sonic ends up finding the game evolved into a game console.

An evil being from long ago returns to consume Mobius and sets into motion a prophecy from eons ago. A young hedgehog named Rage awakens to new mysterious powers as Sonic and the others rush to combat this new threat. Rage must learn to harness his powers in time as only he has the power to ultimately defeat the one known as Vlagh.

After defeating Geoffery St. John, The Freedom Fighters discover that Snively Robotnik has returned to reclaim Mobius once more. This time, he has a companion with eerily similar abilities to that of Sonic's. The Freedom Fighters must stop Snively's plans and save their home once again!
