Once someone wondered what the world would be like if Frank Fontaine wasn't as alone and unloved as he was. The result was this wretched little story. Family ought to soften a person, make them less of a monster. Unfortunately, he had to learn it all somewhere.

Timmy wakes up everytime the seawater turns on, burning his eyes, choking him as the pain from where his wrists hang in handcuffs grows more and more intense. He can't tell Ryan about Fontaine. God knows that, but Ryan don't. He can do what he pleases with Timmy, and he will. But whatever torture Sullivan can cook up for his sick enjoyment, Fontaine will do double.

All they needed was to get the damn guns from Chen Lin. They strolled in and found him missing, and now Columbian Police was firing their weapons into the doorway of the workshop. This is no easy task however, as a man turned living automation has many hurtles to overcome.

In which Booker DeWitt comes to the city of Columbia in an attempt to clear his name, only to find that his past is inextricably tied to that of the city, and that fate has a way of sneaking up at the worst possible times. Or, an AU rewrite in which questions are answered, underused characters are given their due, and the Lutece twins can't help but snark at everything Booker says.

1912. Thanksgiving day. Peer into a window looking out into a world where Booker and Elizabeth successfully escaped Columbia to live a normal life together. Now comes the hard part, planning for the holiday. Booker x Elizabeth (not related).
