It's been five years since Simon Snow and Baz-Grimm Pitch left for Christmas break on less than great terms. Then Simon defeated the Humdrum under mysterious circumstances and everyone went on with their lives. Half the time Simon can't even play the simplest songs, his mentor's avoiding him, his girlfriend broke up with him, and there's ghost running around the school taking people's music, pretending to be him. Baz would be having a field day with all this, if he were here-it's their last year at the Watford School of Music and Simon's infuriating nemesis didn't even bother to show up.

This is a story set right after Wayward Son, except without the "trouble at Watford". When an old care home finds Simon Snow's baby blanket, Simon wonders what it could tell him about his parents. And what that knowledge might mean for his crumbling relationship with Baz Grimm-Pitch. Set immediately after Wayward Son. SnowBaz

This story shows how the dynamic of roommates for Simon and Baz has changed now that they are...more. In this "study lesson", Baz and Simon are experiencing a normal afternoon at Watson: Simon is practicing his magic, and Baz tries to help...although soon they are no longer studying magic.

This story picks up just after "Wayward Son." Simon, Baz, Penelope, Agatha, and Shepard head to the airport and plan to face the danger back home. Simon and Baz work out their feelings and finish the conversation they started on the beach.

Simon Snow may have saved the world but the world has changed for him. Battling dragons was much easier than confronting his own emotions. He's not the Chosen One anymore but is it fair to let Baz choose him? A late night of introspection for Simon, after Baz leaves for the night.

Everyone worries about Simon, after his defeat of the Humdrum, but who is worrying about Baz? Penelope Bunce. A one shot taking place post canon, in the midst of the inquiry into the Mage's death,at a time when Simon is most definitely struggling, to the concern of those around him. Penny spends most of her time worrying about but finds a way to look after Baz also.

On a crisp, fresh, October evening, Baz decides to surprise Simon with a romantic dinner and something extra special for him. For no reason, other than he wants to find a way to show Simon just how much he loves and cares about him, and this is really the only way that makes sense to him. Takes place after Carry On, but before Wayward Son.

Agatha overdoes it and passes out drunk. Simon gives up his bed for her and is about to sleep on the floor. Baz spells his own bed a little bigger so there's room for his roommate. Isn't that nice of him? He in fact ends up being VERY nice to Simon.
