I have always wondered about Isobel s thoughts and feelings after Lord Merton proposed to her and I woud have loved to watch a scene in which she finally gives him her answer. This story is set one hour before Isobel will tell Lord Merton that she wants to marry him. This is my first fanfiction ever, so please be kind with me!

Seeing how Thomas likes kids, I decided to come up with a story in which Thomas ends up having to take care of a newborn. To be canon compliant, this story takes place in 1928, after the movie. All characters will appear.

In this story Robert has an elder brother who is supposed to marry Cora. Robert however wishes she wouldn't say yes to him because, in his own words, that would put him into an impossible situation.
