It was hot. Stifling hot. It had been all day. That kind of oppressive, humid heat where the air is heavy and thick, where you pray for the evening's cool air to arrive early, or a thunderstorm to roll down from the Alps. But some nights, it's just impossible to cool down…

Sooo... this is just a little theory about Liesl and Gretl that doesn't make any logical sense

Eight years have passed since they last crossed paths. When they meet again, in post-war Salzburg, the Captain and Maria are no longer the same two people they had been, back when they danced in the garden. But as Rodgers and Hart wrote, "Sometimes you think you've lived before, all that you live today/Things you do, come back to you/As though they knew the way."

When Maria returns to the villa, Elsa realizes she must intervene in order to protect her relationship with Georg, and enlists Max's help in a plot to keep Maria and the Captain apart. Will Maria and Georg finally come together and find love, or will they remain full of regret for what could have been? GeorgxMaria, MariaxOC, a little GeorgxElsa. Jealousy and angst.
