Post-fall, Will is set alight with the angry, longing need to see Hannibal. And so, he waits. Trapped in his vigil, with a shotgun, a bottle of whiskey, and the torn remnants of a shirt, he scans the looming forest outside his front porch for the lean, flickering shadow. And in his waiting, his watching, over those endless nights, he loses himself to the memory of Hannibal.
