Perry has a long-standing rule in regard to his and Della's personal time during a case. Della finally lets Perry know how she feels about his so-called rule. I wrote this story well over a decade ago, but I removed it a while back. I have polished it up and made some additions. Big shout out to my beta Musicin68 for making my stories so much better than they actually are!

What would happen? If Della's call to Perry, which made him give up the judge's bench, it out for something very different to being accused of murder.

This is my first Perry and Della fic, and is a missing moment from TCOT Deadly Toy. Perry and Della have already played house, and Perry is coming back from the airport.
