It is the story of Arathorn and Gilraen, and about the Dunedain way of life. It then follows little Estel as he grows up in Rivendell and now as he returns to the Dunedain. This is my take on the myth of Fram, an old king who the Rohirrim are descended from. All the information I could find on Fram is that he slayed the dragon Scatha so I wanted to tell his story with some more detail.

Little Estel wakes up with a horrible sore throat. His loving family of healers tend him to help him get well. But it comes to the point that Elrond is going to have to remove his son's tonsils. Estel is NOT thrilled about the idea, at all!

Blinded after an attack as a toddler, Marina of Harad is raised in Rivendell. When Gandalf the Grey returns with a host of child-like creatures, she cannot pass up the opportunity for adventure. I've had this story in my head for a long while, and finally got it down for your delight. Eventual Eomer/OC, but it is an adventure story. Enjoy, read and review.

[2020 - story rewritten]. Third Age pre-LOTR. As the Shadow of Angmar engulfs Arnor, its people turn to seek aid from alliances of old. Nienor, the sole remaining member of a minor House, finds herself alone in a foreign land with strange customs. Legolas/OC though NOT a slow burn, this path is a little different. Much angst and heavy (and I do mean M-rated HEAVY) on the romance.
