It felt like a mirror shattered. One moment you're looking at someone you hate through one piece of glass, and all of sudden there are dozens of pieces everywhere and you're just finding out that it's hard to hate someone when you know so much about them.

A continuation of chapter 13 of my Ectober Shorts. Do Jack and Maddie have any normal friends? No. No, they do not. Do they have any friends who aren't doors to other planes of reality or hosts to ancient ghosts? That remains to be seen.

Nothing in Danny's life is ever normal, not after the accident. Dealing with frequent ghost attacks and keeping his secret from his parents, Danny isn't sure his life can get any worse. But when he meets the only other person in the world who could understand what he's going through, things fall into a downward spiral.
