This takes place about 2 weeks after the end of the film, in the new 'Syspocalypsestar' world, where everyone is trying to rebuild their lives. Emmet continues having strange dreams, mostly with himself as Rex under the Dryar. Could Reality be having a hold on him despite everything – or are there more time-travel shenanigans in store?

Rex expected to disappear after Emmet refused to become him. And then he didn't. None of them knew how it happened, but Emmet kept him from disappearing. Now, Rex is stuck in Syspocalypstar, and starting to realize just how much of a lie "no regrets" was, and just how much he may need to change how he handled Undar. ...As much as he absolutely hates to admit to it.

Emmet and Lucy are finally married, and have been for some time. Rex on the other hand, had friends, but was still alone...his heart aches for someone.

Rex is woken from his sleep in the Bin of Stor-Age. But who woke him? One-shot, rated T juuuuust for safety.

It's Valentine's Day, and Lucy ponders on what to give Emmet as a gift.

Well, I've been feeling bad for Rex lately, so… Rex wakes up in his own timeline, and Lucy still takes his breath away. Dangerstyle, I suppose technically, though without Emmetstyle conflict. Pointless sappiness, pointless fluff.

Emmet Brickowski is the happiest person of all, everyone can assure you how irritatingly happy and innocent the young construction worker is. At least that's what they think but the brightest smiles are always to hide the darkest problems.

It all starts back to the moment Rex left Emmet under the Dry-ar, only to have an ending that wasn’t a happily ever after for Emmet. While Emmets story was ending, Rex is determined to travel back and fix his previous mistakes. But can he ever truely ever change?

"I want you to hold me. Please." The "please" is silent because Radical Emmet Xtreme Machete Ninja Star Dangervest doesn't say please.
