My take on GoW3 that heavily focuses on Marcus finding out more about his father's past and involvement with research in the New Hope facility (seen in GoW2). Also attempting to expand on Locust evolution and intend to explore Dom's past and future.

This is my AU story based on the ending of Gears Of War 4. I will try to make it part of the time line as best as I can and am able to. If there is a problem in any of the chapters, please, let me know in either a review or a pm and help me out with improving it. And no, I am not trying to make it any different from the ending of the game. But, it did leave room for interpretation.

Alright folks, this is my second Gears Of War Story and well, this is centering around Marcus and his daughter, Jadyn. Oneshot: The Swarm had been repelled from Settlement 1, but at the cost of hundreds of lives, and the complete destruction of Old Ephyra. Afterwards, Gears were deployed to scour the ruins. Delta included.

Poem: 'Back in the UIR' was the last song released by The Roaches before E-Day. Even after the beginning of the Locust War, it remained at the top of the charts for a whole three months.

This story follows Gear Sergeant Scott Hollan through the peak of the Locust War shortly after the Battle of Ephyra and events during his time as a Commando during the Pendulum Wars. Mostly OCs with a few canon characters making appearances throughout. This story is going to try to stay as close to the canon of the games/novels as possible.

Oneshot: The COG of old had created the Locust, and the COG of the present day had created the DeeBees. Both had ended up turning against their creators.

Oneshot: The COG had been formed at the start of the Pendulum Wars, and been disbanded towards the end of the Locust War. It had risen once from the ashes after that conflict. Still, with the Swarm, could it do so again?

Oneshot: Useful as the DeeBees were, the Swarm was still a mighty foe. Maybe the COG needed a new type of machine...
