Team Awesome Force receive a level 3 Warrant for a space pirate called Jayne Cobb. They locate the spaceship Serenity but before they can transport Jayne back to the Quad/Core mayhem ensues.

Pawter is in charge of Old Town, and she has absolutely no idea how to institute the democratic reforms that she wants. Fortunately, she realizes that she can lean on the advice of leaders from beyond the Quad... and who better to consult on matters of democratic leadership than President Jed Bartlet and his staff? ("Killjoys" Season Two ending divergence, obviously.)

Two months have passed since Mick had successfully taken over the Waverider. (See Left Behind). Now called The Rider with improvements made to every inch of the ship, including communication, the crew is headed out to take down the Time Keepers On their way they get a distress call for help and deciding as a crew they decide to check up on it being careful after the last time.

Oneshot: Just remember - as bad as things seem, they could be worse. Much worse. Or...well, sometimes they can be.
