The paramedics tried to stabilize Kelly Severide to move him to the ambulance. He was barely conscious and had lost a lot of blood from two stab wounds. On the other side of the apartment, Matt Casey stood covered in blood. "You recognize this knife?" one of the cops asked. He nodded, the words barely audible, "Yeah, it's mine." Sometimes people weren't what they appeared to be.

After firehouse 51 saves a girl from a fire, things start to get crazy. The girl gets taken away by a man who abuses him. After Antonio from Chicago Pd saves here, the girl moves in with firehouse 51, but they don't know about the many secrets of the girl Riley.

There are moments in life when you realise nothing will ever be the same. But change doesn't mean everything is over. It was only just beginning of a lifetime for Severide and Casey. A life filled with ups and downs, tears, joys, pain and laughter.

Set 16 months after "A Little Extra." Established Casett. The members of 51 plan a Halloween party. Casey decides to give them more of a reason to celebrate.
