This story is a long-lest gem from one of my favorite authors, Heddwynn McCloud. It was published in 2010 and was deleted in March 2011 along with his other 2 stories after bullying. I convinced him to rejoin the site. He deleted it again close to Dec/24/11 because he said he could not find anywhere to take it. I have a great admiration for it and wish the other two were not lost.

When Dawson develops a fever, Basil can think of nothing to do: so he takes his friend upstairs to be treated by Dr Watson.

This is actually different from Darth Ben Valor's fanmake of the 1986 Disney film "The Great Mouse Detective" (he did a great job BTW) and is instead mostly performed entirely by the Family Guy cast!
