Avonlea is having a youth talent showcase. When Anne finds out Gilbert is not participating, they make a deal—Gilbert will sing in the showcase if Anne recites one of her original works. If only Anne could manage to write something that wasn't about a certain boy.

This story takes place sometime in season three. Anne throws a graduation party after Queens entrance exams, but is soon very confused about her feelings. She had just admitted to Diana a few days prior that she was in love with Gilbert Blythe. Anne lays awake most nights only thinking of her Unrequited love. But Could Gilbert feel the same?

Oh my, that was a beautiful season 3 finale for Anne with an E! This fic is an imagining of the first letters Anne and Gilbert would have written to each other. Anne's letter first... "Please forgive me for all these outbursts, although you must admit you are partially responsible for them." Gilbert's letter second... " Yet, in the back of my mind there was you, always you."

Written after S3/E9 of Anne with an E aired in Canada; uses the note Anne penned to Gilbert spelling out her true feelings as a jumping off point and is set over the course of Anne's first year at Queen's Academy.

When Gilbert is badly injured saving Anne from an attacker in the woods, Anne feels so guilty that she vows to stay by his side until he is well. It is hard for her to see him now as anything other than a hero, and as those strange feelings of admiration grow, she begins to realize many of those feelings were always there.

Anne is scared of the people she loves most leaving her; Gilbert shows her that he would always come home. Five times Anne wasn't sure and one time she was. In which a girl flirts with Gilbert at a party and Anne decides to have a little fun. [One Shot]

"Little did either of them know that the kind of man Anne would like to fall in love with was far different than the man she would actually fall in love with. And although she may have to look in books like Jane Eyre to find her ideal, the man she'd actually fall in love with was right in front of her eyes." Anne gushes to Gilbert about her favorite book. Written after S3/E8 of Anne with an E aired in Canada; set 15 or so minutes following Anne's big revelation. On the advice of a mentor and friend, Anne summons the courage to speak her truth. Season 3, episode 8 of "Anne with an E" again left me with so many feelings! The slow burn is beautiful and killing me at the same time. So, I came up with this tag, picking up where episode 8 leaves off with Anne unequivocally realising she is in love with Gilbert Blythe but is she ready to do anything about that? One shot.

Anne decides to do something rash after her revelation. Takes place right after Season 3 Episode 8.

Written after S3/E7 of Anne With An E aired in Canada; set after Anne and Gilbert's year at Queen's Academy. In a moment of great sadness, Gilbert comes to know his heart and confesses his love.
