Alex returns to Derry with her daughter, Agata, when she sees a reluctant way out of the expensive city life. Everything seems to be going well for both of them: Agata has good friends for the first time, Alex gets a job - but when Alex starts having memories of her childhood in Derry back in 1962, she realizes that IT doesn't like when IT'S meal escapes. Bob Gray hates Derry. There is just something wrong with the place. But the circus can't go on without Pennywise the Dancing Clown, so every year Bob swallows his fear and focuses on putting on a good show. But this year, things will be different. This year, the feeling of wrongness is stronger. This year, It is awake. And It has set It's eyes on Pennywise.

Richie confesses to Eddie in the clubhouse, that he was sorta on a date with Henry Bowers' cousin at the arcade. It didn't go well so he decided to head to the clubhouse, where he see's Eddie on the hammock. Eddie confesses that he's gay too and that he likes him.
