Nine the Phantom uses her powers to transport Ragna and the others into the world of Final Fantasy VIII and Izanami plots to destroy their entire world with the use of Gigant: Takemikazuchi. This marks the second reunion between Squall and Ragna since their very first alliance.

Rinoa always seemed like an outgoing young woman. So Merlin was surprised she had so much trouble with a spell that requires its user to sing and dance. Leon always seemed like a quiet uncaring guy. So Rinoa was surprised when he spoke up and said something nice. AKA: The no doubt long awaited origin story to Leon's leather jacket.

Laguna warned not to let their mind wander during Time Compression. Squall was stuck. But who knew, that the same thing would be his way out? Just not the way anyone thought it would.

This story operates under the idea that the worlds of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, & X (series) are one and the same. Though they share the same planet, these original stories are separated by incalculable amounts of time, until now. The setting where the characters come together is a reality where these worlds are fused together to create something new and different, yet familiar.

Trained at a school for orphans to be an elite operative for his country, Noel progressed through the ranks until he was on level with and befriended some of the school's most respected mentors.
