A very short thing I wrote about the jungle inside the Jumanji boardgame.

Sixteen-year-old Michael Foster is invited to his best friend Jason's birthday party on October 31, 2015, and while shopping for his birthday present, he comes across a derelict pawn shop, where he finds a board game and buys it for Jason. When Jason begins to play the game with Michael and two of his other friends, the party quickly turns to chaos. (Based on the 1995 version)

Alex had been in the game a long time before he met another real person, but it wasn't the other characters. Now in the clutches of Van Pelt with his new friend, he must survive unimaginable horrors to discover the truth about a vile man more dangerous than they had ever thought possible and escape a nightmare in which one more mistake for either of them results in a permanent end.

Bethany runs into her ex after escaping Jumanji, and realizes maybe they weren't as good together as she had believed.

When Spencer, Martha, Bethany, and Fridge get stuck in a video game as adventuring avatars, they have to venture through the jungle and join forces with a well-accomplished archaeologist to end a curse and save the game - the only way they'll ever go home. Jumanji and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle mix together just slightly as Eve Dixon does everything she can to enter the game for her thesis to prove the game is more then a game. Her other hope is to meet her crush, Professor Sheldon Oberon in her journey. R&R

He let out a gasp unfit even for him, and dropped the hammer as Bravestone towered over all four of them. He could not believe his eyes and the first thing he thought of, which he unknowingly said out loud, was "What the hell?"

Oneshot: Far as Alex was concerned, Jumanji was responsible for false advertising. Because despite what the boardgame had said (before it became a videogame at least), he'd never sought to leave his world behind...

It wasn't that Anthony didn't like Spencer. On the contrary, it was quite the opposite.
