This story was inspired by the 2017 movie, "Wonder Woman". After Steve dies, Diana gives birth to their son named Apollo aka Wonder Boy. Diana juggles being both a single mother and superhero. Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent make a cameo in this story.

The first year after Steve Trevor's death was a blur for Diana Prince. When Bruce Wayne discovers a young girl, seemingly frozen in time with an uncanny resemblance to her lost love, Diana begins to question her memories. Is Batman's urchin really her daughter, or a product of a wild and wistful imagination? How do you heal and move on after a loss? Does happiness even exist?

Post-WW. Diana and Etta Candy go through Steve's personal effects in his office, apartment, and journal after the Great War ends. His last entry before he died details his final feelings of Diana. 'Etta Candy didn't need to have ever fully understood Steve Trevor, nor did she need to understand Diana Prince. They understood each other, and that was enough.' D/S

Steve is dead (sorry, no miraculous savings here), and Ares too, but Diana is captured by the Germans before the signing of the armistice. She faces court-martial as a British secret agent, but the Amazons get wind of it...
