House Karstark is one of the more honorable and loyal Houses of the North, that was until Harrion Karstark returned home and swore fealty to House Bolton. The twins, Brandon and Alys Karstark took action and seized control of the lands of Karhold and has raised their banner for Jon Snow and Sansa Stark who march on Winterfell with an army of Northmen and Wildlings.

The Rebellion was disastrous for House Targaryen, the King was killed by his own guard, the Crown Prince was defeated on the field of battle, now Dragonstone is taken. The last children of House Targaryen were brought to King Robert and bent the knee, cementing the defeat. But the dragon cannot be bent, cannot be broken, the dragon will rise again and bring forth fire and blood.

Maelys the Monstrous fell at the Stepstones. It was the end of the male line of Blackfyre... But not the end of the entire House. Two daughters survived, they lived on and one married and begot a son, that son joined the Golden Company and raised to the ranks as the Captain-General. Daemon Blackfyre takes the contract to find Daenerys Targaryen and help her take Westeros.

The Seven Kingdoms in turmoil, Aerys Targaryen rules with cruelty and fire. His two sons aim to remove him through resolution or force if they have to, the Great Council would take place when most of the Realm is in attendance but darker forces are at play and the hearts and desires of men and women twist and turn. A dark cloud hangs over the Realm and all watch with bated breath.

Myrcella Baratheon had no idea what fate had in store for her when she met Robb Stark at Winterfell. She had no idea what to expect when she became his hostage two years later, it certainly was not the adventure she finds herself in now. Running for her life, turning her back on her family and falling for a man that should be her enemy yet treats her as a friend.
