If you've watched The Lion King remake in 2019 you remember the scene when Scar wants Sarabi as his queen. Obviously she rejects him. But when he is introduced, he says that he has "tremendous respect" for the Queen. So this story follows exactly that scene and what happens afterwards, but she doesn't reject him. I guess enjoy.
