After the initial relief of surviving their plunge off the Storm Spire, Callum and Rayla have some unresolved issues.

Soren reluctantly confesses to Callum that Claudia might have ensured Verin's survival. When Callum relates this to Rayla, the elf tells him that Verin had threatened to come back for her and said something about adding her to some kind of collection. Post-s3, oneshot, Rayllum.

Callum looks to restart the Dragon Guard while teaching other humans to form connections to primal sources. Elsewhere, Claudia tries to rebuild her family as she forms her own team of mages to take the fight further into Xadia. All while Aaravos watches both from the shadows with growing fascination and the war between elves and humans threatens to escalate to a whole new level.

To connect to the Moon primal, Rayla takes Callum on a "vision quest." After encountering a two-headed soulfang serpent, Callum comes to understand Moon magic better, but not how he would expect. With the serpent dead and trapped in each other's bodies, Callum and Rayla will need the help of some unlikely allies should they ever hope to get back to normal and return home.
