Sometimes, Destiny takes you on a different path than you planned. Sometimes, that path is one that an Alien Goddess picks out for you and it happens to involve fighting in a sentient, alien, cat-shaped warship against alien dictators. It's not what she expected her life to be, but goddamn it, is she going to save everyone she can anyway and build a family while she does it.

An injured Keith is imprisoned by Galra-hating aliens, but the flashbacks to his childhood are the worst part.

If finding out that he was half-alien was not enough, Keith is about to realize what really means to have Galra blood inside his body; especially now that it has been awakened. He certainly was not expecting it to affect his interactions with the other team-members, mainly the ones with Lance, not as radically as it did.

Lance never appreciated the religion he was raised in, until he ended up lightyears away from the place where it was practiced. Now he only has his memories, and whatever mustard seeds of faith his family planted, to sustain him. A canon-compliant short story cycle. Contains humor, angst, hurt/comfort, family, and friendship. Rated T for mentions of sensitive, controversial topics.

Voltron was doing fine without him, they didn't seem to miss him, or care about him. So why should he care about them?

Lance and her team of agents along with the Paladins begin to work together to help defeat the Galra shortly after Keith's supposed death. Little do they know that Keith is alive and is convinced that he's a Galra general. Haggar has always been by his side and he never questioned her intentions...That is until he gets into a battle with his friends. (Sequel to Don't You Trust Me)

The Paladins help a mysterious boy while stuck on a jungle/forest like planet and waiting for Allura and Coran to come get them. As thanks for the Kindness the boy grants them each powers over the Elements to help them in their fight against Zarkon and the Galra. When Lance was captured by the Galra, it hadn't been some grand battle. It wasn't a great, world-ending fight. Hell, it had barely been anything but a routine attack for Voltron. Except, Lance is back, even if after three months. And you never know how much war can change a person. But Lance will be damned if Rachel and Marco don't pay up for losing the bet on aliens being real.

The Garrison was one of the biggest survivor camps in America, and just as Keith's luck would have it, she was stuck with Lance McLain being one of the Runner's in her squadron. Though they were sleeping together did not mean that they liked each other. It just meant that options were scarce. Still, a lot can happen on a Run, especially though Galra territory.
