Jess rides away on ranch business to Utah. He drops off the horses, sends the money home to the ranch and then has some time in the Big Open. He was supposed to be back in a month but he never returns. Who will find him since he seems to have disappeared into thin air.

Slim and Jess find that there is always hope when life is at its hardest. This story is my gift to the fans of Laramie during the COVID19 crisis.

When Andy is injured in a cattle drive accident, Slim takes some time to reflect on his anger about the incident. Meanwhile, Jess is healing from the wounds left by a friend's betrayal, and contemplates forgiveness with the help of a stranger.

A man from Jess' past comes to Laramie for a rematch of a gun battle, and he carries two things with him: an equal draw and a vengeful father.

You will need to read Return to Rock Springs for this story to make sense. I still plan to write sequels; however, I took the comments by reviewers of that story to heart. This story fills in a few of the gaps in Chapter 51 - although I will need to write more missing scenes.

Jess and Slim are on the trail of a pair of murderers, but that's the easy part. This story is COMPLETE.

Jess once told Slim he'd never be rich, collecting tumbleweeds. Slim disagrees. A little Christmas story, sorry partners, seems we tried but couldn't get it finished on time.
