Six months after the ending of Crooked Kingdom: Everyone has settled down and things aren't so crazy in the Barrel. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of crimes, but the six criminal masterminds have retired, going back to do what they did before. Things are perfectly normal. . .until trouble stirs.

Inej is about to leave Ketterdam on The Wraith, and there's one person she hasn't said goodbye to.

An alternate version of the Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdoms storylines where I add a little character of my own, one who plays on the right side of the law...mostly...

Remember, it's only a game... 3 years after the events of Crooked Kingdom, Kaz, Inej, Nina, Jesper, and Wylan each wake up on Isla de los Sueños alone. Legend has something to offer each of them-something they greatly desire, but only if they can win Caraval. They can't get off the island without playing the game for the full 5 nights.
