Valentine's day is fast approaching at Beacon. Ruby Rose is a master of many things, but romantic affairs are not one of them. -Okay so, this was the first thing I ever posted on ao3, and you can tell. I don't think it's bad, but it's aged. I did fix a few grammatical errors from the ao3 version though.

Ever since surviving a grimm attack in his youth Jaune had kept experiencing nightmares every night. Following the advice given to him he took up painting as a hobby that would potentially help him find a semblance of serenity. While the nightmares sadly didn't stop, it came to become an enjoyable pastime for him. However, he'd soon find out it was so much more than just that.

Helping people. Saving people. Smiting 'evil.' That's all he did. To many out in the frontier, he was a unquestionably a hero. But to himself, he was a slave and little more. New characters he never saw before are now peppered all over the story, and his Gamer ability seems to have a place and a story in Remnant as well. (Inspired by several RWBY 'The Gamer' fanfiction, I added some original features to help it be a little more... unique)

An M1 Abrams tank and her crew and a pair of Russian Spetznaz are placed onto Remnant after they supposedly die in battle.
