This is a thrilling tale of the complex life of Mustangs who fight for love, loyalty, family and most of all, freedom. Through it all, the characters must discover true heroes within themselves.

After the return of Spirit and Rain, the wild life of free-roaming Mustangs, proves challenging for the domesticated Lakota mare as she tries to fit in the herd. Spirit however, is convinced that Rain is a natural born leader, destined to soar freely by his side. Will Rain adapt and become the lead mare Spirit believes she is destined to be? Or will she go back to Little Creek?

They see no point in trying to be set free until a certain stallion enters their lives and shows them a better way. Faced with difficult decisions, they must decide for themselves whether freedom is worth it. Rated M for darker themes and violence.
