JOJO's Bizarre Adventure fanfic: time traveling through the Joestar bloodline
Chapter 2: A tale of a gentleman, an evil person and a stone mask
Our heroes exited the portal and found themselves in a dense forest. After some scouting they spot a big house in the distance and they decide to approach it. While they are walking Jolyne notices that SPR's hand is a bit damaged and asks him what happened. He said: "Probably I got damaged during the time travel, I don't know if it will cause problems,but it seems like I'm already getting better." "Well we can't afford to lose you so watch out" answered Jolyne. Upon arriving in front of the mansion Joseph stopped everyone and asked Shizuka to hide them. Josuke then asks:"do you know anything about this place?", and Joseph answered: "I was only ever told about it by my grandma Erina, this is the Joestar mansion and from what I can remember we're around 1880,and if Star Platinum is right about what he said we are going to meet someone very important,very soon." As he finished that sentence Okuyasu pointed out that a blue haired boy was coming near the mansion, but before he entered a carriage arrived and the door opened, another blonde boy jumped out of it and the two started talking."You're Dio Brando right?" "Yes and you must be Jonathan Joestar?" "Yes, nice to meet you". The group was blown away by their words and suddenly Jolyne started sprinting towards them, but then got stopped by Giorno before she went too far and became visible again."What are you doing !?" he said, "ending something before it even started" Jolyne responded. "have you gone mad!? Think about the consequences, by killing Dio now you'll change the events of the future making most of us cease existing, especially me!".
Jolyne then stopped resisting and said while looking at Giorno :"Sorry, that name got to my head and I was blinded by rage, it's just that being this close to him didn't make me think".
She then turned back to see Dio kick Danny and get yelled at by Jonathan and thought (I guess that he was born a bastard).
After that Star platinum's fist started to glow
from the crack that had formed earlier and suddenly a new portal opened below them and sucked them in. They found themselves inside the building during the night and after a while saw a grown up Dio enter from the front door and being confronted by Jonathan. Upon looking at them Jolyne said:"I guess we jumped in the future of a couple years. Now that I look at him, Jonathan looks a lot similar to Star Platinum, and for what I see, Giorno's hair color looks identical to Dio's" "I still don't know how he is supposed to be my father since we were born almost a decade apart." said Giorno, but before he could continue talking, he got stopped by Dio's cries for help for Jonathan to forgive him, though his attempt was blocked by another man who introduced himself as Robert E. O. Speedwagon."So that's how he looked when he was young, uh,interesting" said Joseph, then Josuke asked him:"hold on, Speedwagon? That Speedwagon? The owner of one of the largest associations in the world?"
"Yep, down to the bone, he looked after me when I was younger " answered Joseph leaving everyone a bit surprised.
Then the trio started shouting and our group listened to the conversation.
They learned that Dio was trying to take the Joestar fortune by poisoning George, Jonathan's father, and that he had been blocked by the other thanks to his travel to Ogre Street. Right before he was handcuffed and arrested by Jonathan though he started speaking about surpassing the human condition and how humans are limited and weak. He then pulled out the stone mask and a knife and upon seeing the relic Joseph almost got an heart attack. Dio then proceeded to rush against Jonathan to stab him, but he was blocked by George, who sacrificed himself for his son. Dripping in blood, Dio activated the mask by putting it in his face and covering it with blood.
He then got shot with numerous bullets by the policemen and got thrown out of the window.
Later George died because of the injury in the hands of his son and it was a heartbreaking moment for everyone. During the drama Speedwagon turned around to check on Dio's corpse, but it had vanished. Moments after, the new vampire that Dio had become entered the room and killed everyone except for our team, Jonathan and Speedwagon. To defeat such a threat Jonathan decided to burn down the whole mansion so that the flames could be strong enough to burn him before he regenerated. Because of an explosion SP and the others together with Speedwagon got thrown out of the building and watched as the brave man faced off against the vampire. When the fight ended SP's fist glew again and a new portal teleported them elsewhere. This time they were inside a boat and Joseph immediately got terrorized and said:"T-this boat, we need to get off this boat as soon as we can!" "why?" They asked, and he responded:"this is the boat were Jonathan died, soon it will fill up with zombies and blow up in the middle of the ocean!" So they started running around to find a way out, but then they started getting attacked by the zombies. They tried using their stands to defend themselves, but they did not do that much damage to them because of their extreme resistance and strength, only Okuyasu and Joseph were able to do damage thanks to ZA HANDO and hamon, so they decided to keep running. They soon found themselves in the machine room where Dio's head was trying to get Jonathan's body. They watched as Jonathan took Dio's most powerful attacks, but still managed to grab him and then he said:"You know Dio, I always felt some kind of affection for you, after all we grew up together and I'm happy to have you close to me". And then he died. As they watched the scene, they got surprised by the way Dio reacted, in fact when he realized that Jonathan was dead, he was stunned and showed almost dome kind of care for him.
By now the boat was about to explode and our group was almost overwhelmed by the zombies, so SPR decided to make a new time portal (to clarify, this portal does not eliminate the one at the Speedwagon facility that remains the "present" portal, it just brings SP to another time period between this new portal and the present one) as it was the only way out of there. After exiting the portal they found themselves near some ancient ruins that resembled the Colosseum and it looked like a big race was about to begin.
