AN: This is officially the first chapter of Hyperdimension Neptunia: Dragon Goddesses Z. And uh...what am I supposed to say here lol? Anyways this is probably gonna be a huge action chapter for the most part, considering I need to figure out how everyone fights and what not. As for the doubts in dbz fanfiction, yeah most of them are really bad, not worth reading. But I'm trying to make a good and enjoyable one and as accurate as possible, well not exactly accurate since some stuff I have ahead planned. I will still use Power Levels for the time being, since they are total bull after a certain point. But it is cool to see right? But enough of me talking, see you at the end!

A Life or Death battle, something completely unexpected!!!

Last time on Hyperdimension Neptunia: Dragon Goddesses Z, Nepgear had found a strange game and was excited to try it out with her older sister, Neptune! It was like any other day in the world of hyperdimension. Though like always something had to happen and the two got transported to a completely new universe. Meeting two new warriors, Goku Piccolo as soon as they got transported, agreeing to help them save Goku's son. Find out..Now!

Neptune, Nepgear, Goku, and Piccolo were flying at high speeds. To be exact or more detailed, piccolo was the only one actually flying. Neptune, Nepgear, and Goku we're riding on the flying nimbus. Neptune Nepgear couldn't fly in their human forms...yet? Another thing they could possibly ask, it would be useful for saving shares.

Though they didn't have time to speak or think on the subject, because it looks like they have arrived. The two girls were instantly filled with pressure, mental pressure. The guy down there was incredibly strong no doubt, already tougher than the majority of enemy's she has faced. Which was bad for Neptune. Why?

These past months of Peace Neptune has done nothing but laze around, play games, and eat snacks. Due to this her level was sent down to one instead of staying where it originally was. But physically she could probably still put up a decent fight. As for Nepgear she was better off than Neptune, being the productive one.

Neptune Goku jumped off, both doing midair flips before landing onto the ground, making a small thud sound as they landed. Why they both decided to do that is Unknown. Nepgear jumped off right after but it was a normal jump, and piccolo just descended to the ground.

"Jeez who caused the wreck, I'm sure whoever rules this nation would like to have a word with you" Neptune said upon seeing the huge crater in the ground. "I don't think this is any kind of island Neptune. I don't sense Shares anywhere, not even a goddess" Nepgear responded. The only person here who had the power similar to the people in Gamindustri was that guy over there, Raditz.

The mood was tense, a huge showdown. So to fit in neptune made a serious face to act like she knew what was going on, these guys we're intense. "How did you find me?" He finally spoke, obviously to Goku. "That is none of your business! " an instant response, a quick one. Goku wasn't messing around and it was apparent in his voice. Raditz still had a smug look on his face, throwing some kind of fruit up and down in his hand. "Fair, I'll ask a different question then. I'm curious, what do you and those other foolish people think you're doing here?" Raditz said after. Harsh but did it really matter?

"It's obvious, I came to get my son back. I'm not gonna leave without him" Goku had said in response, rather serious tone. "What an awful thing to do..taking someone's son as hostage, how cruel.." Nepgear would follow up. It made her sick, there wasn't much else to be said there. "You're one of the last saiyans and refuse to join me? Your own brother? " He replied, still keeping the same angry yet reasonable tone.

"The plot thickens…" Neptune said. Honestly this guy was his brother? But he seemed so friendly and he just...looked like some filthy hobo. Like seriously he needed a haircut, she never seen such long hair in her lifetime, it was literally anime hair. But...technically.. No fourth wall breaking for now.

"Like I said you are no brother of mine!" He really didn't believe someone like him could be related to him, share the same blood.

"Enough! I didn't come here to hear a family argument! Let's get on with it!" Piccolo interrupted, throwing off his weighted clothes. Goku started to do the same, throwing off his weighted clothes as well. Once they hit the ground it cracked, making a huge thud sound in the process. Their power definitely has increased, somehow. Neptune and Nepgear were far gone in this situation, but they had to help. Neptune had summoned her normal katana from basically nothing, making it materialize. Nepgear did the same but her sword was just a sword of pure energy. They definitely weren't as strong as them, they had no shares! Raditz used his scouter, something on his head making an annoying beeping sound, analyzing them.

"Hahahahaha! You think a small boost in power is enough to defeat me! The power levels you two had alone are pathetic enough but those two earthlings over there are even weaker! This is truly a sad sight! And you think you can take me on? I'm gonna have to kill you all it seems" he had started laughing at first, throwing the fruit all the way behind him. He seriously wasn't joking. Will they make this out alive?

"Just because you're stronger than us doesn't mean that you'll win. Because we have a strategy! " Goku had said with a confident look. "We had a strategy? " Neptune asked with a blank confused look. Nepgear was also unaware of this. "Ah sorry guys..I don't think we told you...it was kinda sudden" Goku said with an awkward laugh. "They'll figure it out! Prepare Yourself!" Piccolo said seriously. "Very Well then, let's see how long this so-called strategy will keep you alive, Kakarot...for refusing to join me and betraying the saiyan race, I will kill you and your useless allies!" He yelled as the wind grew more intense.

Raditz became a blur, going so fast nobody on the battlefield could track him. It was until it was too late to react when they caught him. Raditz slammed his elbow into Goku's back and did the same with piccolo, causing him to move back. As for Neptune Nepgear, he had done a midair flip kicking them both dead in the face. Goku was sent forward, pushing himself up with one hand and back onto his feet. Neptune was sent flying, though she stabbed her sword into the ground to stop herself from going any further, and caught nepgear while doing that.

Goku and Piccolo seemed to be fine, but to these two that hit was insane. It felt like getting hit by a boss monster but ten times harder,but they'll be fine. They have taken worse beatings before, and even died on a few occasions, but by the logic of RPG was brought back. A simple kick wasn't gonna throw the protagonists out. Assuming she was a protagonist anyway. (But Hyperdimension Neptunia is in the Title! My name!) Shhh.

"Since these will be your final moments I guess I should tell you that two other saiyans that are way stronger than me will be arriving on this planet soon!" Raditz said. Everyone was shocked, if they somehow win this battle and live to eat pudding and play games for another day, how in the hell are they gonna beat them?! A terrifying reality honestly. "We haven't even been in this world for a day and now we are already helping save the planet...great" Neptune didn't seem so happy about it. "It's a new record!" Since the other times these goddesses were transported they had to end up saving all dimensions/universes, ultra dimension, zero dimension and heart dimension, and we can't forget hyperdimension. Nobody said they had to help but it would be a jerk move to leave their planet in a state like this, when they are supposed to help everyone.

"I tried to get you to listen to reason brother but you refused to listen! And for that you die" Raditz had told goku facing him. The whole group was looking at him however he was only looking at Goku. Goku would sweat a little bit, having a weak smile on his face. "And even if we don't there's still two other Saiyans coming. Goku said.

"Ah don't worry about it. We'll beat them uppy and then go home and eat food and play games!" Neptune would say with an innocent smile, really it was kinda killing the mood. Though she said it in a serious way rather than her usual playful tone, so it's something at least.

In a situation like this, goku was kinda terrified. This guy was already stronger than him as is, but now two other saiyans more powerful than him were coming down to earth. It was scary indeed. He has had enough of this though, he needs to get to the main point. The reason they all got here in the first place.

"Where is my son?! Where have you hidden him! Tell me now!" The man dressed in orange gi said. It was so furious, angry, and loud. Nobody seemed to be affected by it but Neptune Nepgear really. Raditz didn't even flinch. "These guys are too serious! Just what is this universe?!" The sisters both thought at the same time.

"I haven't hidden him anywhere. His crying was annoying so I threw him inside of my space pod inside of that crater" the group turned. By thinking, it didn't take even a second to figure out that the crater was made by his space pod ship, or whatever it was. Goku looked over, he wasn't wrong. He flew up seeing a space pod, so he could fly? What was the point of the cloud then! Goku could hear Gohan's cries for help. He sounded very young, like a child.

"Don't worry gohan! I'll get you out of there!" Goku said, making sure he was just loud enough for Gohan to hear him. "Ha! Don't make promises you can't keep! You know if you want to get to him you'll have to defeat me first!" Raditz boasted, he was a cocky person indeed. But he had the strength to back up his bark, so there was nothing they could say.

"F-fine then! We'll beat you and get his son back! Right here and Now! I'm sorry about this but today you will lose!" Nepgear had spoken up, preparing to fight once more. She was determined and that's one thing that was clear in this life or death fight. "Good, because all this talk was getting annoying," Piccolo said getting into his stance as well. Goku came back to the ground getting ready.

"Looks like the fight is about to get started! I feel we're the odd one's out though, using weapons and all. Oh well, be prepared to get neped!" She said getting ready as well. Raditz found the shorter purple haired one to be an idiot.

Then without wasting a second, Goku Piccolo took the initiative, dashing up to raditz at the same time, charging at him really. They both threw punches at him, at the same time. Punches going right and left, though it was all a worthless effort. Raditz would effortlessly dodged all the blows sent towards him, only slightly moving his head at each punch. They became afterimages, moving so fast there were only orange and green blurs moving around the field.

The two would both appear behind Raditz and both attempt to throw a punch at his back, though this was also a failed attempt. Raditz had simply stretched out his body kicking both of them in the face, causing both to be flipped over spinning around. Though they adjusted and landed just fine. Neptune Nepgear.,had never seen martial arts fighting like this. In their universe only people like uzume used martial arts but not even to this extent. Neptune Nepgear knew basic martial arts but still not as good at this. Mostly they were magic/sword users.

Piccolo and Goku upon reaching the ground as soon as a foot turned around jumped forward to grab raditz but they both moved and he had gotten the chance to fly up. Both of them jumped up towards him getting as high as they could. But Raditz hands grew….purple! He had gathered up some energy and shot two giant beams at them of energy. Goku dodged it and piccolo just barely dodged it, it hit his arm! Both mountains in the background easily blew up.

Neptune was in..confusion? What was that, how, why? She had seen things like that in some anime and manga but to think people could actually pull it off. Shooting energy from your hands was..cool. Neptune at most could produce energy blades and energy projections, as well as do other magical things. But shooting energy? No. She had to learn that.

Goku had landed on the ground looking up but there was no one to be seen. "Where did he go?!" Goku said. "Watch Out!" Nepgear said but it was too late. "I'm right here" Raditz said behind goku, seemingly appearing out of nowhere and kicking him onto the ground.

This was their chance. They might have not been able to hit him but maybe they could! Neptune ran towards Raditz and swung her katana down, but all raditz did was raise his arm and the katana shattered. "N-nepu?!" was all she could say in response. Raditz had sent a punch but in that second his fist made contact with more swords, a lot of them...what?

"32 Bit Mega Blade" The girl said, using the blades to push raditz back. Then she made it explode, causing huge flashes of light and dust. "I can reach from here!" She said nott wasting time and immediately followed up the assault. Nepgear ran into the smoke, jumping up as she did so. Neptune's katana had broken so she needed to do something. She used her skill ice edge, an attack with an ice-infused weapon. Inside the smoke raditz wasn't damaged at all, in fact he was just dusting himself off. He noticed Nepgear coming at him so he had grabbed the sword, he took no damage. He grabbed her by the neck and threw her.

Yeah..no damage but he was inflicted with some kind of slowness?! He felt slow, like he was trapped and ice. "Tch, you don't have high levels but it appears you have some advanced attacks. Very well then, this actually might be interesting after all" Raditz said. Neptune had summoned at least over a hundred 32 bit mega blades. Blades made of magic, they were transparent and had a lot of power behind them. This attack...was raising her power level? Tch whatever. Nepgear was hurt, though she was able to bounce back rather quickly.

"Hehe i'm finally getting serious, let's see how you handle this then! 3-2-1 Action!" she shot all of them..

Goku had turned to Piccolo who had landed on the ground after he did, specifically after the huge energy beam shot at both of them that blew up the mountains. "Hey are alright--!" Piccolo was...not alright.

His arm was gone, all of it. Nothing left to be seen of it actually. The part still on was leaking purple liquid, which could be assumed to be his blood. "Don't worry I'm fine. I only need one arm to fight "

Goku nodded. "Those girls we brought along...they are pretty strong. It wasn't a huge power I was sensing but rather something else, whatever it is, it's pretty strong!" he would say in amazement watching them fight. "Yeah but it's not doing anything. They are holding off because of their techniques but.." Piccolo was cut off

"After he figures it out they would be toast? I know" He would say watching as the smoke was still up temporarily. "Say goku, do you have any other techniques that you have been saving?" Piccolo asked looking over. "Hahaha..no sorry, I have nothing." Goku responded.

"You've been slacking. Lucky for us I've been perfecting a new technique these past months." He would say with a confident smirk on his face. "Can you do this attack with only one arm?" Piccolo asked afterwards, he'd assume it needed two arms to perform and piccolo only had one.

"Yeah that's no problem, though I need to charge my energy for it. So you'll have to hold him off for as long as you can with those two. Think you could do that?" He asked. A technique that required some charge time, something he understanded well. "Sure I can do that, especially with those two we could buy a lot of time" He said watching the fight. "Ironically I've been saving this move to kill you but.."

"Now you're using it to save me..don't worry. After this is all over I'll let you take your best shot. Hah!" Goku had got himself prepared for battle once again, dashing towards the fight.

All the blades we're shot down at raditz, it was similar to rain drops. Without something to protect yourself it was impossible to dodge rain, and that was how her blades were like. Yet Raditz was able to dodge them, though not for long. These magic swords aren't just magic swords but also hold a property to them: They explode.

They have an area of effect explosion radius after landing, and that made it impossible to dodge forever. The explosions would hit, getting some hits on him but nothing too fatal. Nepgear was dashing forward swinging her sword down at raditz.

He blocked it, the two hits collided making a crater in the ground below. Nepgear's sword was made of energy, similar to a lightsaber from star wars. It might have been blocked but his skin still was burned until it turned black. "You little!" He said backing up then punching Nepgear in the face, causing a small shockwave and sending her flying into a rock. "Nepgear!" Neptune was obviously worried, she'd never seen a punch like that before from anyone other than giant monsters.

Goku then showed up in the Nick of time. Raditz was off guard, looking at his arm to see what even happened to his skin, he'd never seen an attack like that before. SLAM! There had to be a bone crack!

Goku sent a heavy punch to their stomach. Raditz was almost surprised, stumbling back a bit so he could quickly recover. Goku then elbows him away. He attacks the Raditz with a powerful barrage of kicks and punches though they were all being countered and blocked now. Raditz had kicked Goku, sending him a considerable distance.

Neptune went forward, not having a weapon she resorted to melee. Since Raditz was still focused on goku, he didn't expect this. Neptune does a backflip and imbues her foot with skill BFF, which increases her strength by a huge amount. But she put all the buffs in her foot and Kicks Raditz up in the air, he was sent really high up. Her foot kinda hurt now. "Ow ow ow! What is his armour made out of?! The ancient dragon?!" she asked, kinda vibrating a bit.

Goku jumps up in the air and cupped his hands, putting them to his side and concentrates his ki into a single point (between his cupped hands). "Ka...Me...Ha..Me...H A!" His hands are then thrust forward to shoot out a streaming, powerful beam of blue scouter energy. His power level increased?! Raditz was kicked into the air thanks to Neptune, and was still going up until he stopped himself. He noticed so many different energies rising currently.

The blast of Energy was amazing, the name of the technique sounded cool. Neptune didn't know what was up here with everyone shooting energy but she feels like the only one who can't do that…

There was an explosion and smoke filled the sky, though the dust quickly passed and it showed raditz barely damaged, only wounds gained were from the previous attacks. "He deflected it!" Goku had said in shock.

"Now..let's see if you can do the same!" Raditz gathered up his Ki once again! His hand started to glow and a huge beam of purple energy was shot at goku. He was hit by the beam, which caused massive damage towards him. If they were in neptunia his health would be red and low! He crashed to the ground and raditz ran over lifting him up.

"He was able to block that attack too?! That's no fair, how does he have more power than the protagonists of this story. He deflected his strongest move! No fair, the writer of this story is dumb" Who was she talking to? Find out next time on- "Hey!"

A level went up….massive...huge. The scouter glowed. Nepgear and raditz looked over

Nepgear at this time was getting up, using healing that she had learned to get herself back to full strength. It was a regular heal and not an advanced one, a waste of energy for something she didn't need. She felt a huge amount of energy circulating and so did raditz looking over to piccolo.

"He's gathering all of his energy in his fingertips. They were holding back! All of them can alter their power level at will!" Raditz would say in a pissed off tone looking at piccolo. "Die saiyan! Special Beam Cannon!" his fingers are extended forward, and two thin energy beams are unleashed from his fingers. One remains straight while the other coils around the straight beam.

"Okay this is kinda getting annoying can everyone manipulate energy but us? " Neptune had said as the beam shot forward, not surprised at this point by the excessive usage of beams.

Raditz..dodged it. The beam went past him damaging his armor and going into the nearby mountain behind everyone, instantly blowing it apart on impact causing that part of the mountain to turn black. "H-he dodged it?!" Piccolo said in shock looking at it.

"Good Job! You did a little damage to me. And for that you will be rewarded with death!" Raditz said raising his arm and charging up huge amounts of energy once more, but this time placing more energy with it with an intent to finish someone. Suddenly...it stopped.

Goku had grabbed his tail. Nepgear and Neptune noticed the tail but didn't find anything significant, but now the realization hit them harder than the blunt hits of a dark CPU giant. That was his weak point. He fell to his knees, falling onto the ground. "H-how did you..?"

"Piccolo now! I got him! Charge your attack again!" Goku said, holding his tail, only pulling on it just enough to weaken raditz. "Good job Goku! Now keep him still and no matter what don't let him go! I only have enough energy to charge this once more!" He would say putting his fingertips on his head.

"Kakarot Please! Would you really kill your only brother?! Your own flesh and blood?" Raditz would ask as he was on the ground, he was struggling hard too. "You are not my brother as far as I'm concerned, especially one as horrible as you! You try to kill me first!" Goku argued back in a serious angry tone. There was also a hint of weakness, he was weakened and damaged after all. Everyone was.

"I know I know! It's true, you're right! I've seen the error of my ways so please let me go and I'll leave you and your son in peace!" Raditz was lying, he was desperate. In such a weakened state he could do nothing but try and deceive. Nepgear was kinda starting to believe him actually, and so was goku.

"Goku this is all an act! Don't listen to him. He doesn't mean anything he's saying" Piccolo had said. Goku was conflicted, what should he do? Should he even let go? "Yeah he's gonna fall for that. I put ten credits on it" Neptune said watching the situation unfold.

"Brother please! It's true I've done some horrible things, I know that now. You're right to be cautious, I'll leave like I said. On my life I promise!" He begged even more than before, this was just enough to push goku off the edge. "Do you mean it?" Goku followed up with a question. "Yes I swear it! You have to believe me!" he had said right after.

"I only saw Arbore (Afoire) beg this much. Even then this is pathetic to watch. Where's your pride as a villain..?" Neptune said on the verge of laughter. It was really funny honestly.

As for goku...he let go of the tail. Everything was ruined, gone. Raditz had got up with a smirk on his face and elbowed Goku as hard as he possibly could in that single moment, making him fall to the ground. Raditz then started to stomp on his chest, jumping before doing so. Goku coughed out blood before starting to scream out. "You idiot! In all my travels I never met someone as dumb as you!" Raditz had said looking down.

"You...lied..!" Goku had said angrily but also in a huge amount of pain as well. "Of course I did, I'm a first class warrior. I do what it takes to win with no hesitation. Even if it means killing my own brother!" He said putting more force into his foot, cracking Goku's bones.

"Ah Damn, looks like nepper has no choice." Neptune said, uncomfortable at this sight. She was not used to slow and brutal deaths, though used to death. She wasn't gonna let the guy she literally just met an hour ago die. She dashed forward with a punch, but Raditz simply shot a huge blast of Ki at her, hitting her whole body and sending her flying into the ground. "I-I need healing..!" she was just as bad as goku now.

It looked over, all of it. Neptune was near death, so was goku. Piccolo's strongest attack would mean nothing if it missed and left him vulnera, and Nepgear was simply not strong enough.

The space pod cracked, and everyone got surprised. The energy was simply too strong. Far stronger than any of them out there, a huge margin. Though..it was just a kid. "Gohan!-" goku called out, weak.

Raditz looked over, his expression changed to shock. This kid..his power. It was over one thousand, stronger than any of them. "Leave my daddy alone!" Gohan yelled, it echoed. His aura glowed red, tears in his eyes. Everyone was speechless, why was he so strong?!

Gohan had dashed to raditz and crashed into Raditz, causing huge damage. A huge crater formed in the ground, cracking his saiyan armor and making him stumble back holding his chest. It was painful. More pain he has ever shown in this fight alone.

"Y-you brat!" Raditz said holding his chest, he scanned his level once again but it was only one. "You've got to be kidding me!" he had said starting to walk over slowly.

"Leave Gohan! Now! Run!" Goku was surprised at first, that his son was capable of wielding so much power. He struggled to get up but he couldn't. Gohan would die…

Nepgear could only watch, something she refused to do. She was watching a kid. A small child fight, yet what was she doing?! Her sister was out there fighting, goku was fighting and piccolo was trying his best to charge his move but her...nothing. A child, a young one at that could get killed because of her uselessness. No! Not again

Raditz had swung his hand at gohan to slap him away, and gohan crashed onto the ground being knocked out. "Please don't do this, he's only a--" Goku was cut off. "A child? So what. He has a higher power than everyone out here, I need to kill him before he learns how to use it" he said walking more.

Suddenly, a punch. The younger sister of Neptune had punched raditz, she was covered in tons of magical energy, making everything intense. The punch was simply a normal hit. But the hit caused a shockwave, the mountains in the distance cracked, the ground was almost destroyed from it, her power had risen so high, but how?! Raditz stumbled back, in weakness and in disbelief at this burst of power. "W-what! You?!" Almost no words to say.

Nepgear's fist was bleeding, a lot of cracked bones now and blood dripping to the ground. It hurt, but it was okay. As raditz was about to go back once again, goku managed to get up and grab raditz and hold him down. "Piccolo now! Shoot it now!" Goku had said. "What?! You fool?! You'll die too! What about your son?!" Raditz said desperately trying to get free.

"A risk I have to take, hehe" Goku said holding him down. "Heh, guess I do get to kill you with this technique after all. I don't mind doing this then" he said. Raditz was desperate. Piccolo shot it too late! Raditz broke free and started to fly away.

The beam went straight through Goku, a look of shock on his face as soon as it went through him. All was not lost though.

Neptune was standing in the way just at the right time at the right moment. She was too low on Mana to actually do anything, wasting it on her two skills. She grabbed raditz. "Haha! You forgot about me! Say goodbye villain! Wait...I didn't think this through..!" She didn't.

She didn't account for the beam hitting her too since well, Neptune. The beam did hit raditz this time, straight through the center of his body. But at a coast….

"Neptune!" Nepgear shouted out. It was too late

All 3...were pierced, a cannon going straight through each and every one of them. Causing blood to spill out everywhere across the field, everyone dropped at the same time, making a thud sound as they hit the ground, but multiplied by 3.

Needless to say, she was in tears, running over to her almost dead sister. "Neptune!" she had said with tears in her eyes. "Ah...this hurts so bad...I never felt like this before" The girl coughed out blood, this was graphic even for neptunia! Slowly bleeding out! "The protagonist wasn't supposed to die...ah..my luck has run out…" The girl had said.

"Neptune..! Don't die please..! I need you" Nepgear had said looking down at her older sister. Neptune had patted her head, then her arm had dropped onto the ground. Neptune...had died. Eh?! The protagonist died! Died!!! How?

"Don't worry, they won't stay dead for long" Piccolo had said to both nepgear and raditz. Well of course they won't, they are the protagonists. "On earth we have something called dragon balls. Gather all seven of them and they can grant any wish, including wishing someone back to life." he explained.

Nepgear smiled wiping her tears."R-really? I can bring back my sister" Nepgear said with hope. "All of you can go to hell. Everything...that happened here has been transported to my saiyan comrades.. and once they find out I've died..they'll come and avenge me.." he would say.

"Wait..! When will they be here?!" Goku had asked weakly, blood filling his mouth.

"One...year…" Raditz had said. "Victory doesn't taste so sweet now does it?!" Raditz said, starting to laugh.

Then and there piccolo...killed raditz. "That's enough out of you. When this is all set and done then we'll see who had the last laugh " he said lowering his arm looking at Raditz's dead body.

AN: Anddddd here we are! In the first chapter, I stayed up all night doing this for you all. Anyways uh..did I do good? This is the first time I've ever written a fight inside a fanfiction story, notice how all my stories haven't had any fights at all. So I do really wanna improve if it was bad. Due to the nep sisters being here the fight played out different than the original fight. As for where things go next, you'll have to find out the next chapter whenever that will be. Though at this point it's pretty obvious to see where Goku Neptune will end up. This isn't the first time neptune has died, just way more painful.
