AN: Oh dear I seem to have got the writing bug, it is ironic that the first time I have posted something in I don't know how long and the very second I shut down my laptop, the excitement and ideas come roaring back with a bang. I almost want to strangle my brain, like where the hell was this months ago for the love of everything. Ahh I hate my brain I really freaking do, one minute I am caught in an ever downward spiral of boredom and such strong apathy that it is a struggle to summon the energy to get out of bed and now. Now! That I have actually done something on a whim it decides to shoot me full of happy feels and excitement that I haven't felt since the day I decided to take the plunge and start my first story. Goddammit brain goddammit. Anyway enough complaining on with the show
Now this little beauty is an idea I have been toying with and struggling to make reality since I started playing the Dark Souls Remake. Now I have a confession. I never played any FromSoft game until BloodBorne and after that amazing work of art and sadism I took the chance and got Dark Souls 3. Safe to say FromSoft you sadistic geniuses are one of my favourite developers. Out of shear boredom or curiosity I stumbled on our lord and saviour the LoreGod himself Vattivida's videos on the lore and by God did I fall in love with the world of DarkSouls all over again. To the point that I was reluctant to kill Quelagg at all. Anyway my mind came up with this little idea and from there an ever expanding web has sprung, I just cannot seem to translate all the ideas for this from my head to the page so I freely leave this glowing treasure for you lovers of DarkSouls to use to make your own journey with. Who knows maybe if I read a few of your stories using my idea I might be hit with the inspiration to turn this spark of an idea into a raging inferno of a story.
The idea is simple:
Main character is a pyromancer with the Old Witches Ring.. The interesting thing is that instead of receiving his flame from a human teacher, he instead received it from a phoenix. As far as I know there is no mention of a phoenix anywhere in the lore of DarkSouls which is a shame because it would fit right in, a creature of fire that represents Fire, Air and Rebirth.
The abilities of the character would be completely up to you what I had however was that he could use his flames to heal others and that is as far as I have gotten as I said this story has such huge potential that I must had a least two pages of my notebook filled to the brim with plot points, character interactions, showdowns and other stuff but I just cant get it all connected together on a page when I try to get it written.
