Zeus's POV
I was looking at the throne room. I was still thinking about the words Perseus said before he was blasted. 'I will return, and I will destroy you, I will make you beg me for mercy'. I was not sure if I should be scared. Something about Perseus made me feel that he was not lying. I was not sure what to do. I wanted to say that he was dead, but I can't help but feel fear. He wanted revenge and he wanted it badly. Apollo was talking to Artemis when suddenly his body was enveloped in blue smoke.
Olympus will face a great fight
Something that wasn't right
War led by the Prince of Sky and Night
Olympias will suffer under his painful might
His wrath as painful as death
Combined with the power of the earth
I was frozen. Could it be, Perseus was alive. I was shocked and I could tell that the others were to. I could tell that Poseidon was scared the most as Perseus told him that he will make him cry. I could tell that Athena was shocked and that was hard to do. She was the first to recover. She said,'We need to figure out what the prophecy means'. I nodded.
Apollo said,'The prophecy must mean that Perseus is still alive'. At his word the room darkened. No one spoke of him, not even his friends. Everyone was scared of him, even the Titans. His name meant destroyer, and he said that his name will symbolise what he will do to us. I was not sure why, but my hands were clammy. I saw as suddenly there was a flash. There stood Rhea. My mother looked at me and said,'I have worrying news'. I nodded. She said,'Mother has announced her heir as well as father, it is well it is Perseus'. I was shocked. My mother continued and then said,'He has been blessed by the primordials, even the creators'. I was scared now. He was blessed by the primordials. Then she said,'He is also now the heir of Nyx and Erebus and he has claimed that he will destroy Olympus, brick by brick'. I looked around the room and I could see that even my brother Hades was scared.
Percy's POV
i woke up in my room in my father's palace. It was blue, like his domain of the heavens. I got up and quickly got dressed. I wore a sky blue t-shirt with navy trousers and ink-black shoes. I put on my watch and I walked out. I saw that Zoe was in the kitchen eating breakfast. I went over to her and she saw me and said,'Hey'. I did the same. I made some blue pancakes appear. I sat down on a table and Zoe sat down next to me. I slowly ate. After finishing, I looked at Zoe and said,'Up for some training'. She nodded and quickly finished of her breakfast. We headed out into the arena.
When we reached there, we saw that it was empty. I quickly made my shield and sword appear. I got ready. Zoe got Riptide out and got ready.,She dashed forward but I saw it coming and I sidestepped. I then ducked as she slashed at my head. She tried to sweep me but I backflipped over it and in the air, she tried to slash at me, but I landed on the sword with grace and put the sword on her throat. I said,'Yield'. She nodded. I saw that she was staring at me. She said,'Perseus, I need to talk to you'. I nodded. I got off her sword. I made my own shield and sword disappear. SHe then said,'I like you'. I was shocked. I saw that she closed her yes. I leaned forward and kissed her. I seperated and I could see that Zoe was surprised. I said,'I like you too', and with that she kissed me. I did the same and it soon turned into a full make out session. After what must have been half an hour, we stopped. We were both breathless. I looked at Zoe and I could tell she enjoyed it. I held out my hand and she took it. We headed out and I heard a voice in my head say It is time. I looked at Zoe. I said,'Do you want to meet your old mistress'. She nodded. Welinked arms and I flashed us in to a forest were the Hunters Of Artemis were. I walked into a clearing where I saw the Hunters were. I whistled and I got their attention. They looked at me. They couldn't recognise me because after getting the blessings of Hemera and Aether, my hair would become blond and my eyes would become white. In the dark, my eyes turned black and my hair became as dark as the darkness. With Gaia's and Ouranos's blessing as well as being their heir, I could make my eyes either green or blue. I could make the sky darken at any instant. I made my wings appear. I could see a look of confusion on their faces. Then they looked at Zoe and their eyes widened. I then made my appearance like normal. Before I became the son of Gaia, Ouranos, Erebus and Nyx. I saw as they became shocked. I then made my shield and sword appear. Zoe made her bow appear. I saw as Artemis flashed in after recognising me. I smirked. I wanted to have some fun.
She said,'You have returned'. I nodded. She got her daggers ready and charged at me. I was ready and I sidestepped her attack. As she was about to slash again, I used my sword with extreme accuracy and speed and cut her daggers in half. I sheathed my sword and as soon as I did that, her daggers dropped. She looked at me with disbelief. I couldn't be asked to wait and I quickly kicked her and she flew back 50 meters. I then said,'Remember my words little goddess'. With that doen, I flashed out with Zoe who was holding my hand.
