Frank Castle is at his lair, his assistant Microchip was on the computer digging up information on the deceased Judge Forrester. Frank had the feeling that this was more to this murder than revenge
"What do you got Micro?" Frank asked
"According to Judge Forrester's files he has resided over countless cases involving all types of criminals Murderers, Rapists, Mob bosses, crooked politicians and corrupt cops." Said Microchip
"Which means anyone of them could've wanted him dead." Said Frank
"Well, this could be a murder for hire." Microchip suggested
"This wasn't professional. This was personal, and like I told Soap this is just the beginning." Said Frank
The Sin Eater was sitting in a car outside of a house. The house belonged to NYPD Captain Calvin Flaherty. Flaherty a man in his early sixties comes out of his house as he kisses his wife goodbye
"See you later honey don't wait up." Said Flaherty as he walks to his car
Sin Eater takes out a remote-control device and pushes the button and Flaherty's car explodes bursting into flames as the car becomes a raging inferno. Flaherty's wife comes out of the house screaming as she witnesses her husband's horrible demise
"No Calvin!" she screamed
Moments later Soap and Molly are on the scene, the firefighters have put out flames and the bomb squad are examining the vehicle. An officer on the scene fills Soap and Molly in on what happened.
"Oh my God!" said Molly as she starts to cry
"I take it you knew Captain Flaherty?" Soap asked trying to console her
"He was my first boss when I was rookie. He took me under his wing and taught me so much. He became a father figure to me, and I owe so much of my career to him." Molly responded
"I'm so sorry Molly." Said Soap
Suddenly a man in his early forties dressed in a suit walks over to them. Soap immediately recognizes the man
"Stan Carter is that you?" Soap asked with excitement
"Hey Soap, great to see you!" said Stan as the two shake hands and hug.
"You two know each other?" Molly asked
"Yes, Lieutenant Molly von Richthofen this is Sergeant Stan Carter." Said Soap making the introduction
"Nice to meet you. How do you and Soap know each other?" Molly asked
"Soap and I were in the same academy class together." Stan responded
"Last I heard you moved up to One Police Plaza working alongside the commissioner." Said Soap
"Yes, in fact the Commissioner assigned me the lead on this case." Said Stan
"Look, Captain Flaherty was very important to me. So, I need to be on this case!" Said Molly
"I have no intention of keeping you off the case in fact I welcome you both to assist." Said Stan
"I have to get to hospital because Flaherty's wife was sedated and I want to get her statement when she wakes up." Said Molly as she walks away
"I'll go check in with the Commissioner." Said Stan as he walks away
Moments later Stan returns his room, unbeknownst to anyone he was indeed the Sin Eater. He goes over to his desk and takes out a photo of Captain Flaherty and marks it with an X and puts it on the wall next to Judge Forrester's photo. Then he opens another folder and takes out a photo of his next target. He opens the drawer and takes out the green ski mask
