Despite Lidden's tired eyes and how he wanted to go back to his slumber of sleep, he rose himself and walked over to the cupboard and pulled out a mug. He shut the door and set the mug under the coffee machine and put a spoonful of instant coffee in his mug before starting the machine up. When it started to pour hot steaming water in the cup, Lidden turned to his father, yawning.
"Are we doing training today?" His soft hair fell sloppily in front of his face as he slouched forward and his brown eyes travelled to the mug that was close to being full as the water stopped pouring. He grabbed a spoon and dipped ten spoons full of sugar, only stopping until he found it sweet as he put a bit of cream in it. When he lifted the mug, the hot not bothering him, he headed to the table beside his mother. He took a sip of his hot beverage before he heard his father speaking.
"I can't today," His father answered, patting the back of his back lightly as he sat beside him and sighed."It's Nashi's 19th birthday,"
Nodding, Lidden closed his eyes and smirked."What's your answer on the Blake situation?" He asked, locking eyes with his father. The man immediately stiffened and growled, his teeth baring.
"I'd scratch my eyes out before letting, Gray's 's kid, date my daughter," he spat, blinking. He shook his head and shrugged and rolled his eyes."Plus, I don't think Juvia, Gray or your mom would allow it-"
Lidden's mother scoffed, closing her laptop and turning to her husband in disbelief."You can't keep her from dating, but that Blake kid isn't so bad looking himself,"
Natsu shot a glare towards his wife and scoffed."You can't be serious-"
Ludden rolled his eyes at his parents and sipped his cup of coffee. He looked towards the doorway of the kitchen and saw Nashi leaning on the wall, her arm's, crossed over her chest and her right leg over her left. Her bangs were to the side as her hair was in a ponytail.
"Morning, sweetie!" Lucy beamed at her daughter and got up, opening her arms to her first child and pulled her into a hug. Lidden and Nashi locked eyes and he smirked and turned away, earning a glare from his sister.
"Morning mom," She pulled away and smiled softly."-morning dad,"
Their father nodded and smiled."Morning sunshine," he greeted back, sitting beside his wife while sat back down at the computer, back to where her computer lay empty. He pulled out his phone and pressed call with a contact, picked it up, and left the kitchen, saying somewhat of a "Hello,"
Lucy sighed heavily and shut her computer with a soft thud and got up, clapping her hands together, looking at her two children."Okay," she breathed, excited for whatever she was gonna do in her head."Who's ready to have breakfast?"
(Late afternoon)
"Happy birthday, Nash!"
When she turned, her crush, Blake, grinned at her and he whirled around in her view, his hands holding what she knew was a gift behind his back. He laughed when Nashi playfully hit his shoulder with a false scowl, a smile playing smoothly on her lips.
"I told you, no gifts!" She whined, turning her body away from him."its enough already that my own dad ditched me this morning for a phone call,"
Blake hissed through his teeth, wincing at her words, but quickly scrambled back into her view, now holding out a small box that was wrapped in her name."-but I'm not like your father," they both stopped and Nashi stared at him with a raised eyebrow."Come on-" he held the gift towards her, looking hopeful."-please?"
Nashi smiled, sighing."Fine," she gave in and took the gift from him and was about to open it, but Blake put his hand on hers and looked straight into her eyes, deadpanned serious.
"Open it when you get home,"
Whining more, Nashi put it in her pocket and glared."So much for the excitement"
Blake rolled his eyes and nudged the side of her waist."It's not the type of gift you open in public,"
When Nashi stopped and blushed, her eyes wide, she turned away and glared at the ground, stomping towards the guild."Yeah, fine fine," she muttered under her breath, hearing blake laugh behind her and he ran after her.
