Thanks for the nice reviews, they meant a lot to me. Really, they do. But I think I have to clear something up, 'cuz I think the fic got a little bit… misunderstood? And hey, it happens. I just wanna clear it up. This is basically just an attempt at comedy - its like a parody of MLB. How it works is, I point out a little plot hole here, make a joke there, etc - it's all in good fun.
The sad part for me is when you guys think I absolutely DESPISE Adrien. I mean, I SEE where you could get the idea, but I honestly don't. I actually rather like him when you compare Chat Noir and Adrien. Heck, I even hate Marinette more than I do Adrien (lol). And I see him as an unfortunate boy who is burdened by his dad's immense control and ironically, also his neglect, and he is very much a victim. He's a nice, compassionate, and woefully dense boy (so I don't hate-hate him).
And I certainly didn't mean to imply that rich, beautiful people don't have problems and that he doesn't matter as a person. He does! Even Hollywood celebrities that makes big bucks have problems - they have hearts, they are humans just as much as you and I, and so I'm really sorry if that's the view you got from the fic.
This fic is basically a comedic exaggeration. I mean, every single line is peppered with some sort of reference, or funny bit.
…but you gotta admit, that Adrien is basically being looked at as a prize by a lot of girls in the show, and even though I and most other people see his worth, I don't exactly think the girls that are crushing on him love him for his 'personality' as much as other aspects of him, wink wink (JK, it's actually a horrible thing, and I don't like it but eh)
