Author´s Notes: Hello There! Thanks for all the support you have given to the story. In this chapter you will see changes in the history of Akame Ga Kill and this will be the last chapter before Akame Ga Kill Zero. Also, I'm going to answer some questions that came up in the last chapter:
The Okita I chose is Sakura Saber. if you wonder why? At first when I was considering the what servant I chose for the story I already had the idea of using a weak servant. So, I was making a list of servants and crossing out the ones that seemed strong to me, that's when I ran into Okita. The alter version I took it off the list, but the sakura stayed in it. When I was thinking of taking out the servants who simply do not convince me and make a draw to see who won the right to be in the story I started to see a lot of things of Okita's personality that I had not seen and that were perfect for the story and little by little Okita seemed to me the best. I hope in the future you see why.
The MC is not Okita in the sense that they are not exactly the same person later on we will see that their personalities are similar but not identical
As I said before, the couple is already decided, but I'm going to give a hint it will be a she. If you are not in favor of relationships of this type, I would not recommend you continue reading, but love is not the main thing of the story.

Sorame P.O.V
If I tell you the truth, I didn't expect things to end like this after my dad made up his mind a few days later, officers from the empire arrived and put me in a cage like an animal and put it in a carriage. From what I heard before they took me away, my father's friend told about my father situation to a high-ranking official of the empire and he decided to buy me instantly. He told my father that I was perfect for an experiment that the empire was going to do, and that they were buying several children all over the country.
It is night. The only thing I hear is the sounds of the horse's footsteps and the officers talking about why the empire is buying so many children and making theories about it, after a while they stop talking so I decide to plan what the hell I'm going to do. I had planned to train by myself in my house until I became strong enough and then I go to a forest to continue training there hunting danger beasts but that I can't do that anymore, according to what I remember from the manga, the test to become an assassin happened in a forest full of danger beasts and the only objective was to escape from the forest. There they would qualify them and the first 7 would be trained by Gozuki a former Rakshasa Demon and they will be the group known as The Elite 7. Children who survive but do not make it to the top 7 will be accepted into another group of assassins called Group of Terror trained by Uncle Bill, since the children in this group aren't so talented, to compensate for this they will give them drugs that make them stronger.
Taking this into account I have 4 possible ways, the first would be that to die. I don't want to die again especially when this new life has just begun. The second would be to try to escape from the forest so that I don't become an imperial assassin and thus be able to train for my account and not change the timeline. The third would be to take the test and be accepted into the elite. It is where I can improve my skills to the maximum since an expert assassin will train us, but this is where I can influence the timeline the most and I don't like that very much. and the fourth would be to end up in the terror group and if I'm honest, this is in my opinion the worst of all since I don't want to be drugged and experiment with apart from that they are going to try mind controlling me to be faithful to the Empire, is true that in the manga they manage to save Kurome but unlike Kurome I have no one. That leaves me with 2 options one is to try to escape from the experiment and the other is to become an assassin. Trying to escape seems to me a bad idea because we are rated at the end of the experiment that means that somehow they observe us, also I don't know why but my instincts tell me that trying to escape is a very bad idea and I don't like that at all.
Already seeing my only option, should I try to make them 8 instead of 7 ? or replace some member of the group, the ideal would be 8 to not affect the timeline as much but I am not a dreamy idiot like most people so I will have to replace someone from the elite but who? Najesho, Pony and Akame are off my list. The reasons for Akame are obvious, but Najesho and Pony? Although I am already beginning to forget things, I remember that these 2 are characters that appear after the events of Akame Ga Kill, so I do not want to kill them, that leaves me with Cornelia, Guy, Green and Tsukushi, among them, Guy is very important to the saga of Gravekeepers so crossed out, Cornelia is the first to die and does not contribute much to the story at first glance but being the first to die helps other characters to improve so also crossed out, this leaves me with Green and Tsukushi, Green was in love with Akame and was one of the few who was not 100% loyal to the empire in addition to having a lot of influence on Akame especially his death at the end of zero on the other hand Tsukushi was Akame's best friend but she was on the side of the empire so at the end of the manga she refuses to go with Akame and kills her later. Between the 2 it would be easier to replace Green since his personality is more like mine apart from having someone seeing the corruption of the empire, but I decided on Tsukushi because even when she was Akame's best friend she didn't do much. In the story she was quite useless in combat while is true that Green died, I feel like he died because he had to die and my end point is Akame views are bound to change since I exist and the only thing I have to worry apart from me is Akame, since if I want to kill Esdeath she is my best option.
But I wonder if I should change things more and try to give me the Shingu I want or accept Prometheus, with the passage of time I will gain all the knowledge of the how to use a sword but there are only 2 sword Shingu that are shown. The first is Kiriichimonji that right now I think it is a bit ironic in name. It is a sword that the wounds it makes have no cure, combine this with an unblockable attack and it will be fatal but it is Akame´s sword and I do not want to touch anything related to Akame, the other sword it is the water-dragon sword this allows the user to be extremely powerful but after 3 minutes it leaves the user extremely tired and I don't want to imagine that with weak constitution. The other Shingu that could be of help is Yocto-Bottoms because it increases the power of the legs and gives the user accelerated abilities combined with A + agility and Reduced earth would be quite interesting. Prometheus is not too bad either because when weak constitution starts to appear in a Long-range fighter would not be as bad as short-medium range.
Heh I guess in the end it doesn't matter because it would give me a little advantage, but it does not mean that they will be helpful against Esdeath. Anyway, I didn't plan to exercise my skills when Gozuki trains us because it would be stupid. The best thing would be to pass the Zero events and then leave the empire to train and create plans against Esdeath although that would not be enough to overcome Esdeath since I am not a genius or a master strategist so surely they won't work. I'm screwed in the sense that if something happens to Akame I think I couldn't beat Esdeath. My trump card is an attack that is impossible to block but not impossible to dodge but against a sadist who can create armies and throw ice meteorites at you is a bit shit to tell you the truth. The best thing would be to get a Teigu and combine it with the coat of oaths to increase its power, but the same thing happens with the Shingu. That most of them would not help or those that can be useful are used by a protagonist and it does not matter if they have them or not.
So think of something that can give you an advantage that others cannot give you ... the only thing that comes to mind would be Magecraft but I don't know if it would work since Okita has mana E and the only spell that maybe I could to do would be reinforcement but it is not the great advantage that I am looking for. What else I can use...?
Suddenly a stupid idea comes to me and I start to laugh a little, but the funny thing is that it can work, but it is useless if I can't use magic, after so much thinking I go to sleep
Timeskip
After a long journey, the officers told me to change my clothes, giving me a cape and a kind of shorts, after a while we returned to the road until we reached a large forest and took me with the rest of the children. After seeing the children, I began to look for my primary objective and just in case the secondary one. At first glance the only one that I could find quickly was Guy since even as a child he was big for his age, returning with my search I find Akame and Kurome. I managed to find them since the 2 of them were hugging. With a change of direction and I managed to find my target. She seems to be trying to start a conversation with the children who are nearby, but she seems to be unsuccessful. I think this is the perfect opportunity to get closer, so I make my way to where she is and "accidentally" collided with her
"Owwh" we both say at the same time as we try to get up. I am the first to get up, so I try to give her a smile while saying "Sorry, are you okay?" I see that she raises her head and stares at me. I see that she does not react and it starts to make me uncomfortable I do "mmm" half uncomfortable and that makes her come back, blushes a little when she realizes that she has been staring at me, she takes my hand and she gets up giving me a smile and saying "I'm fine thanks" I observe her better than before. I see her short light brown hair that is messy and her brown eyes that look copper colored. She looks as I remembered but younger. I notice she is uncomfortable so I decide to speak to her " I'm sorry for bumping into you "and I duck my head a little this apparently made her more nervous and she answers me agitatedly "You don't have to apologize I wasn't paying attention" trying to calm her I give her the best smile I can and say "I'm Sorame , what is your name?" this apparently manages to work as she happily replies "My name is Tsukushi nice to meet you" returning the smile.
After that we have a conversation asking ourselves questions until some men arrive. They explain to us that if we want to have a family we will have to cross the forest and go out to the north end, the man in an animated tone says "Simple, right?" receiving several happy screams and nodding heads. The officer begins to give us a knife to each one of us and explains that in case we find a wild animal. We need to defend ourselves since they do not want anything to happen to any of us while we go into the forest. After that he stops and says that we must continue alone from now. He turns around and leaves. several children excitedly start running straight to the forest I was planning what to do when a voice interrupts me
Tsukushi P.O.V
I was in a room full of other children. The atmosphere was tense, so I wanted to talk to someone but every time I tried to talk to someone, they ignored me or rejected me abruptly. I was about to give up until someone collides with me knocking me to the ground at first, I thought that someone pushed me on purpose until I hear a "sorry" in front of me. I lift my head and see a girl with pale skin, she has pale blond hair and just like mine it is short but hers is very messy, but what caught my attention the most are her yellow eyes, almost silver. Before she had seen a girl with red eyes, they were rare but not in the same sense like hers since it made her feel strange, she takes me out of my trance and apologizes again and presents herself as Sorame, I introduce also myself and we talked until some men explained to us what was going to happen. I noticed that in the explanation she was not thrilled and had a sad face, so I thought she missed her family.
Some time passes and they give us a knife to defend ourselves. I see that Sorame put her finger on the edge of the knife and stares at it. The man says goodbye and turns around so I come and talk to her "Hey Sorame, it wouldn't bother you to walk together to the north" she turns to see me and gives me a smile with her eyes closed and says "I would like that" nodding with her head she was going to continue walking straight and I stop her saying "That direction is not north "I see that she stops and does a "uh?" so I explain to her "A man from my village one day explained to me that if I got lost he would go north, and he taught me how to locate north by the position of the stars" I finished explaining while looking at the sky
I point to a star formation that looks like an X and I say "Look at that X over there that X over there is the north" I come and point to another formation that looks like an Y "That over there is heading west" I point east where there is one with the shape of A "That's the east" and at the end I point to one with the shape of B "And that indicates the south" I turn her around to see her blink a few times and put on a puzzled face that makes me giggle
She replies with "I didn't know that" in a suspicious tone? I'm not sure
We started walking north in silence, it seems that she doesn't like to speak much. I was going to make conversation until we heard screams of complete terror in the distance. I don't doubt it for a second and I started to run where the scream originated, I hear Sorame yelling at me. "Hey, wait for me" and I hear her footsteps behind me. I listen to others scream and I get to where it originated. There I see how a creature that looks like a plant with several heads grabs a child I tried to talk to before and breaks him in half before it eats him. I see that the parts of bodies and blood everywhere I am completely frozen watching what happens in front of me until I feel that someone is pulling me and taking me while she is moving away from that place I turn to see Sorame breathing quickly comes and says "That was a danger beast" she comes and looks me straight in the eye "We have to get out of here quickly or we will be eaten" I nod my head a little scared.
We kept going through the forest and we only ran into a few beasts that looked like a wolves Sorame quickly killed them by cutting their necks. She looked tired so I told her if we could rest. We stopped in an open area where the beasts could not ambush us again. We were silent for a moment so I decide to ask "Hey Sorame, can I ask you something?" without even turning around she says to me "you just did" with a completely neutral tone of voice. This makes me giggle and finally I say "... Sorame do you want to be my friend?"
I see Sorame turn around and is about to speak but for a moment she opens her eyes wide and points behind me "Hey is that the exit?" I see behind me and in the distance you can see how the forest ends so I get up quickly and I start to run towards the exit in the middle of the road, I hear Sorame yell at me to wait for me, I stop and turn around to see her "... about what you said" so she looks me in the eyes with a smile "I want to be your friend" I can't help the smile that forms in my face and I give her a hug I feel her tense before returning the hug I come and I turn to go to the exit and I hear Sorame speak again "So as your friend I ask you to forgive me" at that moment I feel a great pain in my back that makes me fall to the floor before I can scream Sorame covers my mouth and tells me:
"I hope you are lucky in your next life" the last thing I saw were those eyes that caught my attention so much and now I understood why they affected me so. Those were not eyes of someone alive. Those were my last thoughts before I feel a sharp pain in my neck.
Gozuki P.O.V
I was at the exit of the forest with Bill waiting for the children to exit, at the moment only 3 kids have left, 2 boys and a girl. They show great potential, while I was thinking I hear footsteps coming from the exit and I see a girl come out from there. She was small with pale skin, she had short pale blonde hair and yellow eyes that seemed to shine by the reflection of the moon, the girl was covered in blood but did not seem to be hurt since she walks normally, little by little, she approaches us, so Bill decides to speak "Well done, making it through. You've passed this examination. Go receive your treatment." Unlike other children, his face was not filled with joy or pride, she kept a poker face.
The girl leaves and Bill is quietly saying "That girl ..." while a smirk forms on her face so I decide to ask, "Do you know that girl?" As I raise an eyebrow he replies "Do you remember I had a recommendation for the project? She was it" he says amusement "She? and what is special about her" I decide to ask, with a big smile he answers "Unlike the other children she has a great advantage and that is that she has already killed someone, and you cannot deny me that you know that the blood she carried on her was from a beast and human" so he also realized that I wonder what had happened. Well it doesn't matter, that only makes it more interesting. My thoughts are interrupted by more children coming
"Well, with that confidence, I will expect great things from her."
Sorame P.O.V
After meeting the bastards with ugly faces, I had to go to a tent where the wounded were being treated. The doctors checked me, but I had no wounds, so they only helped me to remove my blood and then they let me rest in bed and said to wait for the results. I wait I keep looking at my hands and start talking to myself "So many years have passed and nothing has changed yet, I'm really broken" I laugh a little and think about how I killed Tsukushi I was late in killing her since it was more useful to keep her alive, if it had not been for her I would be lost in the forest in addition to having her as protection if a very powerful danger beast came I planned to abandon her and let the beasts eat her in order to escape I have to say that I didn't expect her to ask me to be friends, but in the end I don't care. Tsukushi was the character I hated the most in Zero and if you wonder why it was a personal bias. She seemed to me the typical useless bitch that only served for the fanservice. Also, she reminded me too much of a character that I hate from another anime cof cof Kikyo Kushida cof cof so killing her did not affect me at all.
It is strange how in my previous life I was curious if killing someone innocent would make me feel something but nothing, not even a bit, so it is something I can take of my list. It seems only my phobias, anxiety, depression when I hit rock bottom and anticipation of stupidity are the things that make me feel something. It is sad that they are the only reasons of wanting a new life because they tell me that I am not completely empty .
I stop thinking because Bill and Gozuki came in and stood in front of me "Here are the results of the examination, your kill-rank is number 4. it was impressive that you left the forest without much fatigue and without any injuries" says Gozuki and he looks directly into my eyes "So I'm going to be your new family now, you can call me father" the bastard says with a sinister smile on his face. I try not to cringe while nodding my head and saying "Ok father"
I really hope this was not a mistake.
